WWE Reveals Extent Of Injuries Sustained By Edge On Raw

WWE Superstar Edge sustained a Grade 2 MCL sprain while being assaulted by The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio) during the final moments of this week's edition of WWE Raw on USA Network. In case you missed it, the Rated-R Superstar went one-on-one with Dominik n the main event of the September 12 Raw. Edge was declared the winner via disqualification when Dom's Judgment Day stablemates interfered and attacked both Edge and Dom's dad Rey Mysterio, who had come to the ring moments earlier to ask Edge to show mercy on his son.

When the match came to an end, the Judgment Day beatdown continued, with Edge bearing the brunt of the dastardly faction's anarchistic tendencies. It was Dominik who dealt the death blow when he delivered a brutal chair shot to Edge's leg, injuring the Hall of Famer in the process.

On the most recent edition of WWE's The Bump, host Matt Camp provided an update on Edge's injury status. According to Camp, Edge sustained a Grade 2 MCL sprain as a result of the attack and will be on the sidelines for an as yet unannounced amount of time.

As you might recall, Edge was the original leader of The Judgment Day until he was kicked out by his now-former proteges Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, with assistance from Finn Balor, who became an official member of the group immediately after.

Dominik Mysterio joined the group at WWE's Clash At The Castle when he turned on his father Rey and Edge.
