18 floral leggings to wear this summer

In The Devil Wears Prada, Miranda Priestly famously declared that florals for spring were by no means groundbreaking. But truth be told, florals are pretty much always in season—at least as far as fashion is concerned. While the winter tends to bring moody, dark iterations, the warmer spring and summer months make way for oversize blooms in bright colors and more muted earth tones.

Naturally, floral inspo has also found its way into activewear, with designs both subtle and neutral (think grey and rosy shades) and OTT (like the overblown blossoms covering the latest leggings at Tory Sport, in a cult-favorite color combo, no less). In fact, many brands banking on the perennial power of flowers: Asos, Carbon38, Athleta, and Sweaty Betty, to name a few.

Even better, floral leggings look great even when you're not working out because they give every ensemble that little je ne sais quoi. I love to wear mine with a pair of protective sunnies and rose-gold sneakers. Let's just say, it's one fitness fashion trend that's really grown on me.
