WWE Presents First Official Look at The WrestleMania 39 Stage At Sofi Stadium [Video]
WWE offered up the first official look at the WrestleMania 39 stage on their social media channels on Friday and brought out a few special people to help reveal the setup. With Corey Graves and Carmell hosting the reveal, Cory introduced professional skateboarders Briana King, Monica Torres, and Leticia Bufoni who skated down the ramp to show off the Hollywood-themed stage. It truly is one of the company's best setups and is absolutely fitting for the Los Angeles two-night premium live event.
The video is below:
WrestleMania 39 takes place in Inglewood, California and the theme of this year's event is WWE goes Hollywood. With that in mind, the stage is shaped like one giant movie red carpet and the ramp is the runway. As if the wrestlers were coming out to present an award at The Oscars, the set is presented in a way that makes every WWE Superstar look like a movie star and there are opportunities for pyro everywhere.
Digital movie posters of your favorite Superstars line the stage and will likely feature the entrance packages as each competitor is introduced and on the side of the rampway are what look like steps leading up to the award stage. As one YouTube commenter wrote, "It isn’t a single promotion in the history of wrestling that can match the WWE’s production team. Easily the best stage since Wrestlemania 33." Another said, "The Wrestlemania 39 stadium looks absolutely incredible and spectacular."
WrestleMania Is Going To Be Huge
Just like the stage, rumors are that this could be one of the WWE's biggest WrestleManias in history. CEO Nick Khan was making the rounds doing interviews this week and said the company has plenty of surprises in store for the two-day event, which actually kicks off Friday night with SmackDown and The 2023 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
