Updated Betting Odds For 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Matches

In just over six weeks, WWE superstars will compete at the Royal Rumble 2023 pay-per-view with the opportunity to punch a ticket to WrestleMania 39.

The 2023 Royal Rumble event will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 28. So far, the two confirmed matches are the men's and women's Royal Rumble bouts. As per WWE tradition, the two match winners will get championship opportunities at The Showcase of Immortals, which will be held on Apr. 1-2 weekend at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The latest betting odds for the men's and women's matches are courtesy of BetOnline.

For the men's Royal Rumble match, Cody Rhodes remains the overwhelming favorite at +100. The American Nightmare has been out since June as he continues to recover from surgery on a torn pectoral muscle. Sami Zayn has seen his betting odds skyrocket, as he now holds the second-best odds at +300.

The Rock has the third-best odds at +400, and it's easy to guess why. There is plenty of speculation that he'll return in 2023 to set up a dream match with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The Rock is followed by Seth Rollins (+1200), Theory (+1400) and Kevin Owens (+1600).

Cody Rhodes

For the women's match, 2019 winner Becky Lynch is still the favorite at +250, though Rhea Ripley is a close second at +350. 2020 winner Charlotte Flair has the third-best odds at +400, followed by Bayley (+500) and Raquel Rodriguez (+800). There have been rumors about Lynch facing Ronda Rousey in a dream match at WrestleMania 39, so a Royal Rumble victory for the former could easily set up that bout.

How Did The 2022 Royal Rumble Winners Fare?

Ronda Rousey won the 2022 women's Royal Rumble match, her first WWE bout in nearly three full years. She would lose to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38, but Rousey went on to defeat The Queen for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania Backlash.

Brock Lesnar won the men's Royal Rumble match and claimed the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber 2022. This set up a "Winner Takes All" title unification match with Reigns at WrestleMania, which the latter won.
