Trish deserves a lot of credit for carving out a successful career in WWE. Trish initially said goodbye to wrestling in 2006 but she could not resist the temptation from coming back into the squared circle in 2008 and made sporadic appearances from then. Trish mixed it up with some of her all-time great rivals in her final 10 matches on PPV, which were some of her greatest battles!
10 Vs. Victoria, Maria, Candice Michelle, Ashley & Mickie James (Taboo Tuesday 2005)
Taboo Tuesday 2005 saw Trish Stratus defend her WWE Women's Championship in a battle royal for the second year in succession. This year it was a Fulfill Your Fantasy Battle Royal, and the fans voted for the Divas to wear either lingerie, leather, and lace, or cheerleader outfits. Lingerie won the vote at 43% and, as a result, would become the attire that the Divas would wear in this match.
The match itself was awful as women's wrestling was not taken seriously in this time frame. Mickie was obsessed with Trish and they collaborated to eliminate Maria. However, Mickie's act of heroism saw her eliminate herself and Victoria which allowed Trish to retain the Women's Championship.
9 W/ Snooki & John Morrison Vs. LayCool & Dolph Ziggler (WrestleMania XXVII)
Unfortunately, Trish Stratus participated in one of the worst matches in WrestleMania history at WrestleMania XXVII in 2011. Trish teamed up with Snooki and John Morrison in a six-person tag team match against LayCool and Dolph Ziggler.
A woman of Trish's caliber certainly deserved a better match in her first WrestleMania outing in five years. However, this bout was all about Snooki as she was the celebrity attraction. Mercifully, it only lasted three minutes with Snooki picking up the victory for their team.
8 Vs. Mickie James (Backlash 2006)
The rivalry between Trish Stratus and Mickie James was one of the best feuds in WWE history. Mickie turned heel on Trish as Trish rejected Mickie's constant advances to her. Nonetheless, Mickie won the Women's Championship from Trish at WrestleMania 22, and they had a hotly anticipated rematch at Backlash 2006.
The road to Backlash was entertaining as both women would mimic each other by dressing as the other. Mickie's first PPV title defense against Trish at Backlash could have been another classic between the two. Unfortunately, fans were robbed of a great match as Trish suffered a legitimate shoulder injury early on. The grimace on her face told the story, and they called an audible with Trish picking up the win by disqualification but Mickie remained as Women's Champion.
7 Royal Rumble Match (Royal Rumble 2018)
The 2018 Royal Rumble saw the inaugural women's Royal Rumble match take place. It was a massive step in the Women's Revolution as women had to wait patiently for their opportunities in WWE. To go one better, it main evented the show, which was a brilliant achievement.

However, it would not have been completed without nostalgia and Trish Stratus was the 30th entrant. Moreover, it was a brief cameo from Trish who lasted five minutes. She had a staredown with her old rival Mickie James and she eliminated her from the match. Trish also aided five other women in eliminating Nia Jax, and she eliminated Natalya. It was good to see Trish mixing it up with new talent but Sasha Banks was responsible for her elimination.
6 W/ Lita Vs. Mickie James & Alicia Fox (Evolution 2018)
As women could not compete in Saudi Arabia at the time, where WWE had Crown Jewel in November 2018, days before WWE held its first-ever women's only PPV event called Evolution. The PPV had a nice feel to it with the dark lighting and the spotlight was solely on the women.
The event saw Trish Stratus and Lita team up as partners once again. They were originally scheduled to take on Mickie James and Alexa Bliss but Bliss was suffering from a concussion. Nevertheless, Alicia Fox was Bliss' replacement and it was an entertaining match. The WWE Hall of Famers opened the show and showcased that they could still go in the ring with Trish nailing Mickie with a Chick Kick for the win.
5 Vs. Melina (Survivor Series 2005)
Survivor Series 2005 saw Trish Stratus put her WWE Women's Championship at stake against Melina. Trish represented Raw with Melina representing SmackDown. Their short feud was exceptional and Melina showed that she was going to have a good WWE career with the spectacular performance she put in.
As expected, Trish dominated the match with experience playing a key part. However, Melina was determined to win the Women's Championship. It was an excellent Women's Title match which was rare in this era. Nevertheless, Trish remained as the Women's Champion in a hard-fought battle.
4 Vs. Mickie James (New Year's Revolution 2006)
Trish Stratus marked a year as WWE Women's Champion at New Year's Revolution 2006. However, Trish had no time to celebrate her remarkable landmark as she had to prepare for her toughest challenge in Mickie James.

Mickie kissed Trish under the mistletoe which took Trish completely by surprise on a Christmas episode of Raw. Nevertheless, their encounter at New Year's Revolution was still in the early stages of their matches together. The chemistry was there and it was a good match from both but Trish continued her historic reign as Women's Champion by countering Mickie's Mick Kick with her own Chick Kick.
3 Vs. Lita (Unforgiven 2006)
Lita and Trish Stratus were two of the most dominant women in the 2000s. Their rivalry was coming to an end at Unforgiven 2006 with Lita defending the Women's Championship against Trish in her hometown of Toronto. Trish was heading for retirement but she wanted to go out in style with the Women's Championship in her sights.
It was one of their best matches together with Lita playing her part as a heel to perfection. Nonetheless, it was the perfect ending for Trish who claimed a seventh Women's Championship by forcing Lita to submit with the Sharpshooter. There were tears shed for Trish, who deserved the reception she got from her hometown fans.
2 Vs. Mickie James (WrestleMania 22)
Trish Stratus and Mickie James' feud finally reached its breaking point at WrestleMania 22. Mickie completed her heel turn by attacking Trish on an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event and the psychotic Mickie had Women's Title aspirations.
Surprisingly, Trish was booed by the fans in Chicago at WrestleMania 22 with the fans favoring Mickie. Fans were probably tired of Trish's lengthy reign as Women's Champion and were ready to see a new champion crowned. Mickie put on an outstanding performance, and she ended Trish's historic 448-day reign as Women's Champion. It was Trish's final WrestleMania match for five years, and one of her best on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
1 Vs. Charlotte Flair (SummerSlam 2019)
Trish Stratus truly thrived on competing in her hometown of Toronto. At SummerSlam 2019, it was the dream match that everyone wanted to see. Trish, arguably the greatest in many eyes, took on the heir to the throne in Charlotte Flair in a blockbuster affair.
Despite retiring in 2006, this was by far Trish's best outing in the matches she had since that match with Lita at Unforgiven. The match ebbed and flowed with Trish having the home-field advantage. Trish was tantalizingly close to scoring a huge win over Charlotte. However, The Queen had the final say by sending Trish into her second retirement with the Figure Eight.
