Trish Stratus Expected To Be A Regular In WWE Moving Forward

Despite the fact she'd been gone for years and that she's a formerly-retired Hall of Famer in WWE, Trish Stratus' stay as part of the Raw roster is reportedly set to last far longer than most would have originally expected. According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, Stratus is scheduled to appear regularly on WWE programming moving forward. In fact, she will be on Raw "as often as possible."

Stratus made her WWE return during the build toward WrestleMania 39 by aligning herself with Becky Lynch and fellow Hall of Famer Lita against Damage CTRL. She ultimately turned on Lita to get to Lynch and the two had a singles match at Night of Champions where Stratus picked up the victory thanks to some help from her new associated (hired muscle) Zoey Stark. It wasn't clear if Stratus was meant to be a regular after her WrestleMania 39 appearance, especially with Lita seemingly removed from the storyline and publicly stating she was working on a per-show basis, but Stratus has done more and more in the last few weeks, taking on greater creative responsibility.

What's Next For Stratus?

Whether she acts more as a manager for Stark or remains an active in-ring competitor isn't clear at this time, but it doesn't appear that she's going to cut back on getting physically involved. All signs point toward the Stratus vs. Lynch feud continuing and likely lasting through to SummerSlam. Becky is scheduled for a Money in the Bank qualifying match next week and Lynch might have something to say about her getting into that Ladder Match.

At the very least, it appears fans will see Stratus regularly for at least two more months, and if things go well, her stay could last a lot longer.
