Triple H Posts Hilarious Tweet About Nicholas Giving Up Raw Tag Team Title

As WWE fans are learning, Triple H has a growing and interesting sense of humor.

There were few surprises bigger than that of 10-year-old Nicholas who was brought out of the crowd to join Braun Strowman on his way to victory at WrestleMania 34. It was the first time in history a fan that young was included in a match, moreover was ever crowned the winner of a WWE Championship. The moment will go down in history as one the WWE’s most memorable, but it also brought with it a ton of questions.

What would happen with the belts? Was WWE actually planning on having Nicholas help Strowman retain them in a match? How was a 10-year-old kid going to be a part of any storyline? As fans learned rather quickly, Nicholas was the son of referee John Cone and he was never meant to keep the belts, relinquishing the titles the next night on Raw and becoming a funny moment in WWE history.

Not everyone loved the angle. In fact, some people hated it. But that didn’t stop Triple H from having a little fun with the idea of a young kid, still in school, trying to rep the WWE.

He wrote, “Unfortunately due to some scheduling conflicts (recess, cafeteria, math class) Nicholas won’t be able to defend the Raw tag team titles... But what a WrestleMania moment!!!!” Triple H had this declaration along with a photo with Nicholas after winning the titles.

Of course, how could a 10-year-old kid rep WWE when he was still going to school and playing with his friends, learning arithmetic and playing dodgeball on the playground? The wrestling ring is not exactly the place for him, but he was bound to be too busy anyway.

All jokes aside, Nicholas was probably the envy of his school and easily the coolest kid considering he was a legit WWE tag team champion for 24 hours. There’s likely not a kid in that school who will do anything as noteworthy this year, perhaps even in their lifetime.
