Triple H Discusses Brock Lesnar's Status For WrestleMania 37

Brock Lesnar has been one of the WWE's marquee main event draws since his return to the company in 2012. But it's been 10 months (and counting) since his last appearance with the company.

Since losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36, Lesnar has been off of television.

Though the Canada-U.S. border is closed to non-essential travel (Lesnar resides in Canada), Canadian wrestler Robert Roode is back to working on television again. And also, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported last year that WWE was able to pull some strings to bring Lesnar in for WrestleMania 36.

So if WWE wants Lesnar back soon, one would assume that Vince McMahon would be able make it work again.

With the Royal Rumble just six days away, some are wondering if Lesnar will be a surprise appearance. If he doesn't show up, could we at least see Lesnar return for WrestleMania season?

Triple H was asked about this during an interview with Yash Bhati of the Hindustan Times. Unsurprisingly, the WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development avoided giving away any potential hits.

"One of the things I have learnt about him is Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do," Triple H said. "Nobody can talk him into doing things differently. So time will tell. If wants to show up at WrestleMania he will, if he doesn’t he won’t. The only way to get that answer is to call Brock Lesnar."

Lesnar's eventual return will lead to several questions. What will this mean for his longtime manager, Paul Heyman, who is now working alongside Universal Champion Roman Reigns? Not only that, but who will Lesnar feud with when he returns to television? Does he get the highly-anticipated rematch with McIntyre?

For what it's worth, Lesnar has the fourth highest odds of winning the men's Royal Rumble at +600. Daniel Bryan is currently the betting favorite at +125.

He Should Be Back Very Soon

If WWE is able to bring Lesnar back for television tapings, it'd be quite surprising if we didn't see him at the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. This is the ideal season to bring back the perennial main event star, and we all know how much Vince McMahon loves featuring him in marquee events.
