Triple H has a brilliant record at SummerSlam as he has won at the event eight times. His final set of matches at SummerSlam were some fantastic contests, but others were disappointing and failed to live up to the expectation.
10 Triple H Vs. The Great Khali - SummerSlam 2008
Triple H contested one of the worst matches in his WWE career as he defended the WWE Championship against The Great Khali at SummerSlam 2008. Khali wasn't on Triple H's level, and the former World Heavyweight Champion's movement was limited.
It was the first time that Triple H had defended the WWE Championship at SummerSlam and it wasn't a match to remember. Fans were merciless, and they chanted "You can't wrestle" to Khali, and the Game went on to retain the WWE Championship with one of the worst-looking Pedigrees in history.
9 Triple H Vs. Eugene - SummerSlam 2004
Triple H was subjected to one of the most underwhelming feuds in his career when he was pitted with Eugene at SummerSlam 2004. This match lasted 14 minutes and it was better than many expected it to be.
Eugene gave a good account of himself here and he utilized the Rock Bottom, Stunner, and Pedigree. Despite all of that it wasn't enough to beat Triple H, as he was distracted by William Regal taking down Ric Flair with a pair of brass knuckles, and Triple H secured the win with a Pedigree.
8 Triple H Vs. King Booker - SummerSlam 2007
Triple H tore his right quadriceps at New Year's Revolution 2007 and he spent seven months on the sidelines. He returned to in-ring competition at SummerSlam 2007 against former World Heavyweight Champion King Booker.
Both men are capable of producing much better, but it was simply a steady match to get the Cerebral Assassin back into the swing of things. The result was inevitable with Triple H finishing off Booker with a Pedigree.
7 Triple H Vs. Goldberg Vs. Randy Orton Vs. Kevin Nash Vs. Chris Jericho Vs. Shawn Michaels - SummerSlam 2003
The second Elimination Chamber match took place at SummerSlam 2003, and Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship was at stake. He defended the gold against Goldberg, Randy Orton, Kevin Nash, Chris Jericho, and Shawn Michaels. Triple H's participation in the match was limited as he was nursing a groin injury.

Triple H was coming out of his pod and Shawn Michaels nailed him with Sweet Chin Music back into the pod. The Game wrestled briefly in the closing stages with Goldberg. Ric Flair slid in a sledgehammer, and Triple H nailed Goldberg with it to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
6 DX Vs. The McMahons - SummerSlam 2006
Triple H and Shawn Michaels teamed up at SummerSlam 2006 and they took on Triple H's father-in-law Mr. McMahon and his brother-in-law Shane McMahon. This was an entertaining tag team match, but DX was on the back foot as the McMahons recruited the likes of Finlay, William Regal, Mr. Kennedy, and the ECW Champion Big Show.
Triple H was chokeslammed through the broadcast table by Show, but that wasn't enough to keep Triple H down. DX eventually got a stranglehold on the match, and Shawn Michaels nailed Mr. McMahon with Sweet Chin Music followed by a Pedigree by Hunter to end the match.
5 Triple H Vs. Steve Austin Vs. Mankind - SummerSlam 1999
By 1999, Triple H was obsessed with the WWE Championship, and he was presented with a golden opportunity at SummerSlam. Steve Austin defended the WWE Championship against the Game and Mankind in a triple threat match with Jesse Ventura as the special guest referee.
This triple threat match could have been miles better than what it was considering the three talents on show. Ultimately, Mankind executed the Double-Arm DDT on Austin and he clinched the WWE Championship for the third time in his career.
4 Triple H Vs. Brock Lesnar - SummerSlam 2012
Triple H and Brock Lesnar slugged it out in a No Disqualification match in the main event of SummerSlam 2012. The Game's arm was broken by the Beast Incarnate a couple of months earlier, and Lesnar expertly targeted Triple H's arm throughout.

It was a back-and-forth contest, and Triple H showcased his resiliency by kicking out of the F-5. Ultimately, Lesnar finished off Triple H with the Kimura Lock, leaving Triple H no choice but to submit.
3 DX Vs. Legacy - SummerSlam 2009
DX once again reunited at SummerSlam 2009 with Triple H and Shawn Michaels taking on Legacy's Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. This tag team match was competitive and both teams went at it for 20 minutes with neither wanting to lose.
Triple H saved the day for DX as Cody nailed Michaels with Cross Rhodes, and he looked like a dead cert to earn the shock win for Legacy. Triple H's efforts proved to be crucial as the Heartbreak Kid went on to lay out Rhodes with Sweet Chin Music, securing the win for DX.
2 Triple H Vs. The Rock Vs. Kurt Angle - SummerSlam 2000
For the second year in succession, Triple H was involved in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. The Rock put his coveted title on the line against Triple H and Kurt Angle at SummerSlam 2000, and the Olympic Gold Medalist was on a hot run after winning the King of the Ring tournament in June.
Angle sustained a concussion after Triple H put him head-first through the broadcast table with a Pedigree. Angle was taken out of the match, and he returned to the match but cost Triple H the chance at reclaiming the WWE Championship with Rock hanging on to remain as WWE Champion.
1 Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels - SummerSlam 2002
Triple H and Shawn Michaels had an epic rivalry, and they locked horns at SummerSlam 2002 in an Unsanctioned match which was the Heartbreak Kid's first match back in four years. They knocked it out of the park in an outstanding match.
Michaels hadn't lost a step inside the squared circle and he carried on right where he left off. Triple H was looking to put Michaels away with the Pedigree, but Michaels countered it with a jackknife cover to win the match. Afterward, Triple H launched a savage attack on Michaels by hitting him in the back with his signature sledgehammer.
