Taz's Son Hook Makes In-Ring AEW Debut During Rampage Taping
Send Hook!Send Hook!
Even before CM Punk uttered those words on the September 22 edition of AEW Dynamite, wrestling fans were clamoring to see Hook (the son of ECW legend and current on-air AEW personality Taz) in action ... well, the moment finally arrived, and it lived up to the hype.
During this week's edition of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Hook would be making his long-awaited in-ring debut on Friday's Rampage, which was taped immediately after this week's Dynamite went off the air. Hook went one-on-one with Fuego Del Sol and won the match with his father's signature submission maneuver, the Tazmission. According to several sources in attendance, the match was quite short, but Hook looked impressive nonetheless.

Hook (real name Tyler Senerchia) was welcomed into the AEW fold when he was revealed as the newest member of Team Taz on the December 16, 2020 edition of Dynamite. Hook was trained by QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes at the Nightmare Factory in Atlanta, GA.
If Hook's even half as good as his old man was in his ECW prime, we can expect very big things from the 22-year-old. Using the Taszmission as a finisher is a big statement of intent, and we can't wait to watch Hook's career unfold.
Taz wrestled from 1987 to 2006. He is best known for his WWE tenure, during which he mostly worked as a color commentator, but the bulk of his professional success came in Paul Heyman's Extreme Championship Wrestling. In ECE, Taz was a three-time ECW World Tag Team Champion, a two-time ECW World Television Champion, and a two-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion. He was also the inaugural holder of the FTW Championship, a title he later reactivated in AEW.
