Larizza filed the motion earlier this week calling for Sytch to remain in custody until the end of her potential trial.Related: Tammy Sytch Could Be Staring At Lots Of Prison Time Following Arrest For DUI ManslaughterSytch was arrested on May 6 after 75-year-old Julian Lasseter passed away following a collision she was involved in. The accident took place in Ormond Beach, Florida in March. She was charged for nine offences including one count of DUI causing death, one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property.
Officers were awaiting toxicology results prior to preferring charges.
Following the charges, Sytch had a bail bondsman put up 10 percent of the $227,500 required and her boyfriend, James Pente, put his property up as collateral.
The State Attorney pointed out that Sytch has violated her probation from three DUI arrests in Pennsylvania. The 49-year-old was given probation that ended up being revoked and saw her re-sentenced to PA’s Carbon County Prison. It was also argued that Sytch has a suspended driver’s license in Pennsylvania and has never had a legal one in Florida.
It Was Really Too Much
The officers involved in the case testified that Sytch’s blood-alcohol level was over the legal limit and there was an opened bottle of vodka in her vehicle at the time of the accident.
The Judge was inclined to side with the state and ordered Sytch back to jail.
She will be officially arraigned on May 31 in the aforementioned court. Sytch faces up to 30 years in prison if found guilty.
