Otis Finally Got The Fairytale Ending He Deserved At WrestleMania 36

After having his heart broken almost two months ago, Otis finally got revenge on Dolph Ziggler and left with the girl at WrestleMania.

There have been some huge matches this weekend, and there are still a few more to come at the time of typing this. Braun Strowman's big win over Goldberg, Edge and Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match, the Boneyard match we've been watching on repeat. However, none of them had us more emotionally invested than Otis versus Dolph Ziggler.

Two weeks before Valentine's Day, Otis plucked up the courage to ask Mandy Rose out on a date. The thing is, this angle is even older than that. Otis has been planting the seeds for this ever since he and Rose were in NXT together. Rose accepted Otis's request for a date, but on Valentine's Day, the big man had his heart broken.

Someone sent a message to Otis from Rose's phone telling him she was running late. While Rose was waiting for Otis, Ziggler swooped in and stole the date away from Otis. Fans found out on Friday night the someone who sent that message was Sonya Deville. Deville even came to the ring with The Showoff at WrestleMania. Otis came to the ring alone, but he wouldn't leave that way.

Just as it looked as if Ziggler had Otis beat, Rose's music hit and the blonde bombshell made her way to the ring. Amid the confusion, Otis got a second wind. Enough of a second wind that he put Ziggler down for a three-count to win the match. After the bell, Rose climbed into the ring to celebrate with Otis. The victorious Otis picked up Rose and planted a kiss right on her lips.

Thankfully, we got the happy ending surely everyone apart from Deville and Ziggler wanted to see from this long-running angle. Now, what's next for these four? Will the mysterious person who revealed Deville's secret continue to get involved in their affairs, or do they now have bigger fish to fry? As long as we get an Otis/Rose versus Ziggler/Deville mixed tag match out of this, we'll be happy.
