NXT 2.0 Roadblock 2022: Recap And Results
This week's NXT was dubbed Roadblock, and the show certainly lived up to that moniker. Its main event saw Bron Breakker defend the NXT Title against both Tommaso Ciampa and Dolph Ziggler. A rather unique match, but when where the result was never in any doubt, or at least that's how it felt going in. Turns out the result was actually very much in doubt as Breakker is no longer the NXT Champion.
Dolph Ziggler Is NXT Champion
Ciampa looked like he had the match won as it went into its closing stages, as did Breakker, but thanks to interference from Robert Roode and a superkick from Ziggler to Ciampa, The Showoff is now the NXT Champion. A huge spanner in the works for Stand & Deliver, and also a way to utilize that spanner without having to make Breakker look weak as Ciampa took the pin.

It was a big night elsewhere on the brand too as the finalists for the women's Dusty Classic were determined. In another shock result, tournament favorites Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez went crashing out of the competition. The pair lost to Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo thanks to some interference from Toxic Attraction. Choo and Kai will face Kay Lee Ray and Io Shirai in the final after they beat Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter later in the night.
Triple Threat Tag Team Title Match?
The NXT Title wasn't the only championship on the line at Roadblock. The Creed Brothers were supposed to get their Tag Title shot but were found laid out in the parking lot before the match. MSK took their place, but the Brothers recovered midway through and wreaked havoc on the shot that should have been theirs. The match was deemed a no contest and likely sets up a match where Imperium will have to defend the titles against both teams at Stand & Deliver.
Elsewhere at Roadblock, Grayson Waller beat LA Knight in a Last Man Standing match, and Tiffany Stratton suffered what was only the second loss of her career. Full results for NXT Roadblock can be found below.
