Kenny Omega Hints AEW Fight Forever May Get NJPW And ROH Stars
AEW Fight Forever launched last week, introducing the first mainstream non-WWE wrestling game for a very long time. AEW's first attempt at a video game has generated mixed reviews and reactions. The biggest takeaway is that there's room for a lot more in Fight Forever, and speaking about the game for the first time since its release, Kenny Omega has hinted there is still a lot more to come.
The Roster Will Grow
Omega, who had a lot of input in Fight Forever's creation, spoke with Uproxx, detailing a lot of what's still to come in the game and hinting at even more. One of the biggest notes The Cleaner wanted to address was the roster. It's pretty limited right now with a lot of notable names missing from it, but Omega has promised more names are coming, and some of them might not be contracted to AEW.

“The roster, we’re going to add bodies to the roster as well,” Omega confirmed. The former AEW Champion quickly added there are “a lot more possibilities for what we can include and what we can design for the game” due to AEW's relationship with NJPW and Tony Khan's ownership of ROH.
Fight Forever's Forbidden Door
Adding ROH wrestlers to Fight Forever's roster is a no-brainer. Although the brands are kept somewhat separate, they're owned by the same entity and exist under the same umbrella. Samoa Joe, in particular, is one of the biggest names missing from the game right now. As for NJPW, if AEW can get the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and perhaps even Mercedes Mone into Fight Forever, that may well be a game changer, quite literally.
Omega had a lot more to say about Fight Forever. The Cleaner couldn't contain his excitement for Stadium Stampede, an additional multiplayer mode being added to the game at some point in the future. Details on how exactly the new mode will work haven't been made clear, but it sounds a little like a battle royale (the video game kind, not the wrestling kind) where as many as 30 players will compete against each in a last-person standing scenario.
