Internet Goes Wild Over Karrion Kross And Scarlett NXT Debut [Video]

The much-anticipated debut of Karrion Kross took place during NXT's broadcast on Wednesday night and within seconds, fans across the Internet and social media started deeming he and Scarlett might have become the best thing in WWE.

As Wrestlevotes notes, "They’ve liked Kross for a while. That entrance just showed it." Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin called it "bad ass" as did Natalya of WWE. Fightful Wrestling suggested, "Already a top tier entrance in the whole company."

This seemed to be the theme over most of social media that was tuned in to see what WWE, specifically Triple H of NXT was going to do with the performer they'd been after for a while.

You see from the video below, WWE went all-out with the entrance, using high-end production to make a fantastic first impression. Scarlett mouthed the words to his new theme song while walking to the ring and Kross followed closely behind, entering a ring full of smoke and an incredible fire-like light show. Fall and Pray was bellowed throughout the empty arena and one can only imagine how fans would have reacted if in attendance live to see it.

For Kross, this was his in-ring debut and the first time we’ve seen of him since he attacked Tommaso Ciampa on the April 15th edition of NXT. Kross quickly defeated enhancement talent Leon Ruff of EVOLVE, after hitting him with two brutal Doomsday Saito suplexes, and the Kross Jacket submission.

What Is The Future For Kross?

There is absolutely no doubt that NXT is positioning him to be one of the top stars in the company. There was speculation he was offered an incredible deal to sign with WWE and Triple H has publicly said he has that "it' factor that makes you want to watch him.

Expect the company to get behind him in a big way and hope he's the permanent answer to NXT's ratings question versus AEW on Wednesday nights.
