Inside Lily Collins' Relationship With Eddie Redmayne

How do a Los Angeles-born child of a pop star and a British actor meet? At a backyard photoshoot, of course. Back in November of 2016, Eddie Redmayne and Lily Collins were interviewed together on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In their interview, Collins explained how they originally met at a Vogue photoshoot her mom was hosting in their backyard. She said, "My mom used to host, or she still does, photoshoots in our backyard for certain magazines, and I came home one day from school and Eddie was just by the grass and, like, a fake airplane modeling." Collins asked her mom who he was, and she responded with, "Oh, it's this young actor/model Eddie Redmayne."

Redmayne went on to confirm Collins' tale, also adding that the Vogue spread he was modeling for ended up being scrapped as, he put it, "Anna Wintour was like, 'You look ridiculous.'" The two hung out in the backyard after the shoot, beginning their friendship as only celebrities can.
