Inside Halle Berry's Relationship With Van Hunt

Halle Berry and Van Hunt sparked marriage rumors on New Year's Day 2022 when she posted a photo of the pair kissing in what appeared to be a tropical church on her Instagram account. "Well, IT'S OFFICIAL," Berry captioned the post, leading many celebrities, including Alyssa Milano, Ava DuVernay, Octavia Spencer, Megan Good, and Taraji P. Henson, to congratulate the couple on tying the knot. One day later, Berry shot down the rumors that she had married Hunt, saying, in part, "We were just having some New Year's Day fun!" in another Instagram post.

A source close to Berry claimed that the pair share an amazing chemistry. "Halle seems incredibly happy," a source told People. "Right from the start, they had great chemistry. You could tell that Halle was pretty crazy about him. ... They seem to have a lot in common. They love traveling. They work out together. It seems like an amazing relationship."

In an interview with Women's Health in December 2021, Berry shared her feelings about Van Hunt. "I wish I had met him sooner so I could have loved him longer," Berry said. "I just feel fulfilled. I feel happy in my life romantically, as a mother, as an artist. I'm a much better mother in this circumstance than I would have been had I stayed in a romantic relationship that didn't serve me and didn't make me feel the way I need to feel as a woman."
