"I Don't Have Anything To Be Embarrassed About"

An unfortunate aspect of live entertainment is that there will inevitably be some slip-ups. Some of these botches are quickly recovered from and forgotten, while others live on in infamy. One of the most well-known botches in WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble, a 50-man battle royal the company held in 2018. While running down the entrance ramp, Titus O'Neil tripped and slid under the ring in one of the most bizarre yet hilarious moments in recent WWE history.

In an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Titus O'Neil discussed his infamous botch. Fortunately, he's able to laugh at the mishap and is proud to call himself a WWE superstar. The following transcription has been provided by Fightful:

No, I’m not. It’s one of those things that, in life, much like in a lot of stuff that happened in my life, I tell people all the time, I fell down and gotten back up so many times. I’m still alive and well to tell the story, and I’m an entertainer at the end of the day. So, I don’t really have anything to be embarrassed about. Got paid a lot of money to fall under the ring and survive. So, I’ve survived and now I’m in the WWE Hall of Fame as a Warrior Award recipient and a WWE Global Ambassador. For all those that wanna laugh, I’m still proud to be a WWE superstar and proud to be able to have this platform to do so many great things.- Titus O'Neil
