HZ053: Mibrim and the Unworldly
It has been announced that actor Hikaru Takahashi will have a voice role in episode 53 of the popular anime Pocket Monsters (airs on the TV Tokyo Network every Friday at 6:55pm, officially abbreviated "Anipoke"), airing Friday June 7th, where she will be playing Luca, a young girl with a Roserade as her partner.
In episode 53, "Mibrim and the Unworldly", which airs June 7th, Liko, Roy and Dot go into a forest to search for something called "the unworldly" that a mysterious person told Roy about. As they cautiously head through the forest, they meet three people that look just like them?! Apparently these three Trainers have also encountered "the unworldly"... But just what IS "the unworldly"?
Takahashi told us that "it was difficult to act to the animation. And as I was performing the role, it was also constantly hitting me that I was actually talking to Liko, Roy and Dot! I was really nervous about voice acting in the Pokémon anime for the first time in quite a while, but I did my utmost, so please enjoy the result!"
The episode of "Pokémon to doko iku?" airing June 2nd will feature an in-depth report on her dubbing session. The episode will also have Minori Suzuki, who plays Liko in the Pokémon anime, and Yuka Terasaki, who plays Roy, visiting the studio to cheer Takahashi on, as well as checking out footage of the acting advice she gets from the show's sound director, and more.The two will also have a passionate talk with the Pokédoko hosts about what to keep in mind while acting, among other things.
