In 1989 Gordon and his late wife, Sondra Locke, gave sworn testimony that they never consummated their marriage and were legally wed for tax purposes. Clint Eastwood bought Gordon a 4,535 sq. ft. house in West Hollywood after Sondra moved in with him in 1975. Clint also paid the gardener's salary and took care of Gordon's shrink bills.

He designed the aqua sequined gown his wife wore to the Oscars when she was nominated for The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1968).

Appeared off-Broadway under the stage names Gordon Addison and C.B. Anderson.

According to Locke's death certificate obtained by the Associated Press, she and Anderson were still legally married when she died and residing at the same address. She left him a fortune estimated at $20 million.

Though he and Sondra Locke were both born in 1944 (she the elder by two months and a week), they always lied about their ages, usually claiming 1947. His mother lied about her age as well, claiming to be born in 1916 when she was really born in 1915.

Anderson's parents passed away within three months of each other in early 1986. Sondra Locke missed Clint Eastwood's Carmel mayoral inauguration so she could stay beside Gordon at his mother's deathbed. His brother died in 2007.

Without any concrete evidence, Clint Eastwood claimed in a court deposition that Gordon had left messages on his answering machine threatening to "f---" him.

Kept wife's death secret from the public. It only came to light after a social media post by their next-door neighbor prompted news outlets to crosscheck with vital records.

Personal Quotes (1) [on Clint Eastwood] Clint is a sociopath; I don't think there is another explanation for the way he treats everyone. He cares for no one. I know it's a hard thing to accept but he's completely unevolved as a human being; he believes in nothing - he's a zero. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but that is it. He needs therapy.
