Every Stable & Tag Team DDP Has Been A Part Of, Ranked Worst To Best
Diamond Dallas Page had one of the most inspiring wrestling careers of the past few decades. The wrestling career of Page starting in his 30s put all the odds against him before appearing for WCW, WWE, TNA and even AEW. Most wrestlers have to spend their 20s experimenting and learning on the fly to become a bigger star as their careers go on.

However, the unlikely success of DDP proved that chasing a dream is worth it even if not having an easy path. Page spent many years in the wrestling world with various alliances in his character arc. Any wrestler relevant that long is bound to get placed in factions and tag teams. Every act that DDP was in with either party will be ranked from the worst to the best.
10 Tag Team With Jay Leno
The high profile tag teams that get remembered with Diamond Dallas Page's career will be the ones used here since anyone can form a team for the odd match. WCW intentionally put Page in a huge role when celebrity Jay Leno agreed to wrestle a match.
The major attraction of Leno and DDP vs Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff drew a lot of money for WCW. However, most fans can’t watch the match back without cringing. Leno playing to the crowd and having the match set up for his highlights didn’t do enough for Page’s fans.
9 The Fabulous Freebirds
One of the overlooked and surprising things about Diamond Dallas Page’s career was his time with the Fabulous Freebirds. Michael Hayes, Jimmy Garvin, Buddy Roberts and Terry Gordy were the names fans usually think of with the legendary act.

However, there was a short time when Page was the manager of the Freebirds in their later years. WCW had the group on the roster in the early 1990s when DDP got the role of managing them. The experience allowed Page to fully understand the live crowd before getting more opportunities in the ring.
8 Tag Team With Christian
The WWE run of Diamond Dallas Page is often remembered for being a huge disappointment. Page was arguably the biggest name from WCW to join WWE during the Invasion, but WWE didn’t care to book him that way with some bad angles.
One of the rare ideas to give DDP some effective television time featured him teaming with Christian. Page was having his motivator gimmick trying to stop Christian from having tantrums. The short-lived team ended with a feud of DDP winning with the European Championship on the line.
7 The Diamond Mine
An overlooked faction from the earlier years of WCW for Diamond Dallas Page played into his name as the Diamond Mine. Future major talents Raven and Kevin Nash joined the Diamond Mine under the previous names of Scotty Flamingo and Vinnie Vegas.
The trio had fun chemistry that showed flashes of brilliance that would come more in future years, but it was a low ceiling gimmick. All three hammed it up as over the top heels trying to find their voices in pro wrestling moving forward.
6 Tag Team With Chris Kanyon (WWE)
WWE decided to place WCW in the tag team division during the Invasion since his rival The Undertaker had a tag team partner Kane. Chris Kanyon formed a team playing into their WCW history to have a program against the Brothers of Destruction.

The duo won the WWE Tag Team Championship during their short WWE run together before putting over Undertaker and Kane. WCW also had them teaming up in a few matches that saw their chemistry always impressing in the ring.
5 Millionaire's Club
WCW started to fall apart in 1999 to make 2000 a sink or swim year. The New Blood vs Millionaire’s Club was the big angle the company wanted to go down swinging with. There was a strong potential for the reality-based storyline to work.
Diamond Dallas Page joined the Millionaire’s Club of fellow main event veterans like Hulk Hogan, Sting, Lex Luger, Ric Flair and a few others. The bad booking ruined any chance of this becoming a hit and ruined two promising factions. Page deserves some respect for being the top face of the group competing for the WCW Championship.
4 Tag Team With Karl Malone
Some fans may view as crazy to have such high praise for the tag team of Karl Malone and Diamond Dallas Page wrestling one match. Bash at the Beach 1998 featured a huge attraction of Page and the NBA player against Hulk Hogan and Malone’s NBA rival Dennis Rodman.
Even though it wasn’t a technical wrestling classic by any means, the impact of that match was massive success for WCW. DDP and Rodman vs Hogan and Rodman helped WCW deliver an all-time great buy rate and fans were captivated in all parties involved.
3 The Alliance
The biggest success for Diamond Dallas Page in WWE came as part of the Invasion angle. Page had a noteworthy spot in the early stages of The Alliance. WWE even picked DDP to be part of the Invasion 2001 main event with Booker T, Rhyno and the Dudley Boyz representing ECW.
Page was stuck in a bad feud with The Undertaker ruining his momentum, but it was cool to see him in a major role for a short time. This run would have a shot at the top spot if WWE didn’t slow down the push of DDP after the first month.
2 The Insiders
The tag team run between Diamond Dallas Page and Kevin Nash started back in the Diamond Mine, but that was a very limited run. WCW decided to give them a much more prominent tag run as the Insiders in the final few months of 2001.
The Insiders was a cool name playing off Nash’s previous tag team with Scott Hall as the Outsiders. Page and Nash had great chemistry as a top face team feuding with the Natural Born Thrillers. Fans treated the Insiders as one of the rare top acts at the end of the run during their two WCW Tag Team Championship reigns.
1 Jersey Triad
Diamond Dallas Page was a rare WCW wrestler to have strong chemistry with both main eventers and mid-carders. Chris Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow received some of the biggest opportunities of their WCW careers getting to team with Page in the Jersey Triad.
WCW had used DDP in various main event scenarios before he decided to form this group. The Jersey Triad became one of the best heel acts in WCW when all on the same page. All three wrestlers were credited with two WCW Tag Team Championship reigns for the Jersey Triad.
