Reigns is a big-game player and competing against the very best that WWE has to offer always enhances someone's ability. 5 Roman Reigns Vs. Brock Lesnar - 2018
The rivalry between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar continued at SummerSlam 2018 with The Big Dog looking to end Lesnar's historic 503-day reign as Universal Champion in the main event. Before the match even began, Mr. Money in the Bank Braun Strowman made his presence felt.
Nonetheless, this was one of the most underwhelming matches between Reigns and Lesnar. The Big Dog took the fight to Lesnar with several Spears, but The Beast Incarnate had a refusal to stay down. However, Strowman returned to ringside and Lesnar pummeled him. Lesnar wasn't taking any chances and he ensured that Strowman would not attempt to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase by launching the briefcase to the top of the ramp. Ultimately, Reigns was lying in wait and he nailed Lesnar with a thunderous Spear to become the new Universal Champion.
4 Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose Vs. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper - 2015

Despite teaming up with Ambrose, it did not stop Reigns from receiving an underwhelming reception. Reigns weren't the most popular superstar in 2015, which is why he received a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance.
This was a competitive tag team that went back and forth. Wyatt tried to execute his trademark Sister Abigail on Ambrose, but The Lunatic Fringe countered it with his patented Dirty Deeds. Ambrose tagged in The Big Dog who sealed the deal with a thunderous Spear, but fans were far from happy with Reigns picking up the win.

Fatal-4-way matches can be hard to pull off at times but they certainly excelled in a remarkable match. Lesnar was taken out of the equation for a while as Strowman put him through two announce tables with devastating Powerslams and then flipped the third table on top of The Beast. Reigns brought the intensity to the match as he sent Lesnar through the barricade with a Spear. Ultimately, it was heartbreak for Reigns as Lesnar finished off the job with an F5 to keep a stranglehold on the Universal Championship.

Cena tried to catch Reigns with a couple of roll-ups, but it was to no avail. Moreover, Cena put Reigns through the announce table with an Attitude Adjustment with Reigns' title reign under siege. However, Reigns showed his champion's quality by refusing to stay down. Cena executed a tremendous Avalanche Attitude Adjustment, thinking he had The Tribal Chief down long enough to prevail, but Reigns kicked out at two.
Ultimately, The Tribal Chief nailed Cena with a Superman Punch but he retained the Universal Championship with a thunderous Spear. Reigns' next challenger looks to have been sorted as Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE programming for the first time in 16 months and the pair had a staredown which fans salivated at.
