Every Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns Match, Ranked From Worst To Best
For many years, WWE struggled to make new stars for their wrestling shows after many of their top stars left. Following the departure of John Cena, wrestling fans were not able to figure out who would be "the face" of WWE for the future. While there have been many candidates, it is still undetermined who will take that mantle. However, Roman Reigns has emerged as a contender and has tried hard to build himself up as the chosen one. Through his journey, one of his toughest opponents has undoubtedly been The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.

For the better part of a year and multiple main events, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns faced each other in almost every match imaginable and took each other to the limit each time. The feud helped turn Strowman into a future star and solidified Reigns as a top-tier talent. While the landscape of WWE is still fluctuating each day, this feud helped create two superstars for WWE to choose from.
11 RAW 2015
Despite having many years of on-and-off feuding together, the first time that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman got together in the ring was not filled with fireworks. Their first singles encounter certainly did feature Strowman executing his signature strength, but it did not result in a competitive match.
Instead, members of both The Sheild and The Wyatt Family got involved, resulting in a count-out victory for Reigns. Certainly not the competition we would be used to in the future, and a match that neither man would prefer to remember.
10 Hell In A Cell: Hell In A Cell 2018
When a long-running feud has a blow-off match inside of the deadly Hell in the Cell as a main-event match of a PPV, it is normally something fans are excited for. However, when that blow-off match ends in a no contest, it just leaves fans upset and defeated that they did not get what they paid for.

Following Brock Lesnar's interference in the event, the match that fans had waited the entire event for - and had waited for Strowman to cash in his Money in the Bank for - was thrown out. To say that fans were disappointed with the decision would be an understatement, and it almost halted Strowman's push entirely.
9 Triple Threat: Payback 2020
In the most recent encounter featuring Reigns and Strowman, it was only Braun's second defense of his Universal Championship, but it certainly did not end favorably. With Reigns only arriving in the midnight hour of the match - with Paul Heyman at his side - he pinned The Fiend to walk away with the championship without actually touching Strowman.
While not necessarily out of the title picture entirely, this match was certainly not their strongest.
8 Five Way: RAW 2016
At a time where Braun Strowman was little more than a monster without a personality, he was slowly trying to climb the ranks of RAW towards a Universal Championship shot.
Due to his relative inexperience in the ring, Strowman was able to hide behind talents like Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho while they all attacked Reigns. So while this was not their weakest match together, it is also not their most memorable.
7 RAW 2017
When matches normally end in "no contests" it leaves fans upset as they were hoping for more action. However, at the beginning of their hard-hitting feud, there was plenty of build-up between Strowman and Reigns eventually locking horns for a big showdown.

After a solid match at Fastlane 2017, they met a few weeks later on RAW where their in-ring encounter ended with The Undertaker made an appearance working towards his eventual WrestleMania encounter with Reigns. It may have only been a paint-by-numbers match for Strowman and Reigns, but it helped build up the future.
6 Payback 2017
Taking place in the middle of their long feud, but before things really kicked in to high gear, Strowman and Reigns faced each other in their first main event match. In a back and forth encounter, they beat each other up in a way that would foreshadow how hard they would go at each other later in the feud.
What became the most exciting part of the feud was immediately afterward where Strowman beat Reigns up all over the arena claiming that "he wasn't finished with him" and flipping over an ambulance with Reigns inside. These antics helped set the tone for Strowman's character in the future and helped develop him as a big draw for WWE.
5 Ambulance Match: Great Balls of Fire
After their ordeal involving ambulances resulted in both men on the injured list, they met again in an Ambulance Match at the Great Balls of Fire event. With both men attempting to stuff the other inside of the emergency vehicle, there were plenty of big spots that made the match a highlight.
Strowman came out on top of most of their singles matches together, but Reigns attempted to win the war with his post-match attack. Despite losing, Reigns attacked Strowman after the match, stuffed him in the ambulance, and then rammed it into the side of a truck.
4 Last Man Standing: RAW 2017
After beating each other to the point where they both needed to be taken to the hospital, and where they couldn't get up to fight again, a Last Man Standing match was the only possible way to take this feud.

There have not been many in WWE history, but this type of match usually features inventive ways of defeating opponents and not having them answer a count of 10. However, this match was just a straight-up brawl where they hit hard and showcased why this feud was so red hot for so long.
3 Fastlane 2017
Before the craziness really began in their feud, these two behemoths faced each other in their first singles match at Fastlane. As the highlight of the event - which very few fans expected - they beat each other up all over the arena, and Strowman really got to show himself off as a star.
With many matches ahead of them, fans had no idea that this match - which was not even the main event - would be a headline feature of RAW for months to come.
2 Steel Cage: RAW 2017
After fighting each other in Last Man Standing and Ambulance matches, it was finally time for the feud between The Big Dog and The Monster Among Men to come to an end, which occurred inside of a Steel Cage. Their paths would continue to cross many more times, but they have yet to face each other in a singles match since this brutal encounter.
Steel cage matches are a great way to settle a feud, and this one brought the house down as they battled to end their war. Strowman would come out on top once again, continuing to solidify his status as a future main eventer and World Champion. At this point, it finally seemed that Strowman was "finished" with Reigns.
1 Fatal Four Way: SummerSlam 2017
In a match that still has fans talking about it being one of the better main events in SummerSlam history, four big men on the RAW roster fought to dethrone Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
Lesnar and Reigns had been champion before, but Stormwan and Samoa Joe were vying for their first victory, and it was anyone's game. While Lesnar would wind up retaining, this match certainly showed that any of them were worthy of being champion, and helped further the growing Strowman and Reigns feud at the same time.
