Derrick Lewis Enters the Record Books for Most Knockouts in UFC History

Derrick Lewis has entered the UFC record books.
The Black Beast is now the fighter with the most knockouts in UFC history.

Lewis earned the record when he beat Marcos Rogerio de Lima in round one of their bout at UFC 291, talkSPORT reported. With the American heavyweight taking top honours, Sports Brief looks at the top five fighters with the most knockouts in the organisation.
Derrick Lewis – 14
The Black Beast has been competing in the UFC since 2014 and has notched up 27 wins and 11 losses during that time.

BoxingFrom his 27 wins, he has 14 KO/ TKO wins and has never won by submission. The rest of his victories have come via decision. His last four wins were all KO/TKO finishes, UFC Stats noted.
Matt Brown – 13
The Immortal shared the record with Lewis before the latter’s recent win.
An active competitor in the Welterweight division, Brown has won 13 fights by stoppage and picked up two submission victories. Another veteran of the sport, Brown made his debut with the UFC in 2008 when he won the Ultimate Fighter finale, Sherdog reported.
Anderson Silva – 11
The Brazilian Hall of Famer will be remembered as one of the greatest middleweights ever.
The Spider has won 34 fights in his legendary career and secured 11 of those wins via KO/ TKO in the UFC.
Silva was a very unorthodox fighter who proved to be a challenging opponent for many Middleweights. His stellar performances during his career earned him a spot in the UFC’s Hall of Fame this year.

BoxingAnthony Johnson – 11
A Light Heavyweight who debuted in 2007, Rumble notched up 11 wins due to stoppage from the 22 wins he picked up in his career.
While he never won the title, he did fight Daniel Cormier twice for the belt. During his time in the UFC, he also fought in the welterweight, middleweight, and heavyweight divisions.
Sadly Jonhson passed away in 2022 after a battle with cancer. As noted by Marca, he died from organ failure due to a bout with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.
Thiago Santos – 11
Santos, a former UFC Light Heavyweight title challenger, now competes for the Professional Fighters League.
While a part of the UFC roster, he notched up 11 wins by KO/ TKO.
His last fight in the organisation saw him lose to Jamahal Hill in 2022. He then signed with the PFL, where he competed in one fight. As noted by Bleacher Report, he was one of nine fighters suspended by the PFL this year.
