Dean Ambrose Debuts New Jon Moxley Video On Social Media
Dean Ambrose is gone from WWE but thanks to a video that dropped on social media Tuesday night, Jon Moxley is back!
As fans who have been watching the behind-the-scenes story of Ambrose know, the former wrestler known as Jon Moxley decided not renew his contract with WWE. As fans of The Shield know, WWE has been planning and marketing his farewell for a while. The question for the past few weeks has always been, 'What will Amrbose do next?'
That answer became a little clearer on Tuesday night.
Posting a video on his own Twitter account as Jon Moxley, a new video popped up after SmackDown Live. In the video, Moxley is seen pacing a prison cell, pounding his way through and breaking down the walls holding him back, running through the prison yard and climbing a barbed wire fence. Frankly, the symbolism to his old WWE tenure is blatant.
What This Means
For fans who wanted to know if Ambrose, Moxley would keep wrestling or retire from the ring after his WWE contract, the answer appears to be the former. There are far too many references to a wrestling ring and training to assume he's not prepared to jump right back into a ring.
What will come next is major speculation from fans, media, fellow wrestlers and, basically, everyone else. Will Moxley join AEW? Will he take independent bookings? Is he just having fun with everyone? Could he be coming back to WWE at some point as Moxley and killing off the Dean Ambrose character?
Within an hour of going live, the video was shared over 2000 times and everyone was talking about it. There will be huge interest from fans to see what will come next.
