Bobby Lashley To Return To WWE On WrestleMania Weekend
If Bobby Lashley has indeed re-signed with WWE then we could see him return to the promotion at WrestleMania or possibly the night after.
If you're a professional wrestler with some time at Impact Wrestling on your resume then you need no longer fear that WWE will be reluctant to give you a second look. Former Impact World Champion AJ Styles is currently WWE Champion, Samoa Joe will undoubtedly continue to make a mark when he returns from injury some time soon, and Bobby Roode has already held the NXT and United States Titles during his relatively short time with the company.
The latest Impact alumni to make their marks on WWE are Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III. The former has had his name changed to Drake Maverick and been made General Manager of 205 Live while EC3 was sat in the front row at the most recent NXT Takeover and is scheduled to compete for the North American Championship at the next Takeover event.
The other name that continually popped up when the two above were rumored to be coming to WWE was Bobby Lashley. Lashley has history with WWE and actually held the ECW Championship during his last stint with the company. That likely means that he will be treated as a pretty big deal when he does return and apparently a deal has been done and it is now just a matter of when Lashley re-debuts.

According to some comments made by Bin Hamin on Vince Russo's The Brand last week, that re-debut will either take place after the main event at WrestleMania or the following night on Raw. Hamin was formerly a WWE trainer and revealed that he was told the above information by one of his sources. There have been rumors that Lashley will begin a rivalry with Brock Lesnar upon his return but the more likely scenario right now is that he basically takes The Beast's place.
Vince McMahon was clearly a big fan of Lashley during his first run with the company and will likely be looking forward to a second chance with him now that he is a better all round performer. Between Lashley and Drew McIntyre, two of Mr McMahon's biggest failed projects look set to pay back his faith in them and could both be World Champions in WWE by this time next year.
