Andrade Hints CM Punk Has An AEW Collision Exclusive Title In His Bag

AEW added Collision to its list of weekly shows last month, kicking things off with the return of CM Punk. During a promo in which Punk took a shot at The Young Bucks, The Second City Saint also showed off a bag he brought with him. Punk teased at the time that inside that bag might be the title he never lost, so the AEW Championship he was stripped off which has since been won by MJF.

What's In The Bag?

Almost three weeks later, and whether there really is a title in the bag is yet to be revealed. Jay White has referenced it, and Andrade El Idolo has gone as far as to suggest if there really is a belt inside that it could be exclusive to Collision.

“Thunder Rosa’s comeback will be great, imagine her beating up Julia Hart, and getting my mask back, and maybe having our own championship that CM Punk never lost,” Andrade wrote in a lengthy Twitter post. The former NXT Champion has been one of the tentpoles of Collision during its first three episodes, having a fantastic match against Buddy Matthews during its debut episode.

The Title Punk Never Lost

As for the title situation, it hasn't been confirmed yet whether Punk even has a title in that bag. That does seem to be the most likely scenario and at some point, while MJF is still champion, Punk confronts him and challenges him to a match to crown the one true titleholder. Maybe that angle begins with Punk labeling himself the true champion on Collision, like Andrade has suggested, and MJF coming to Saturday night with his bruised ego to challenge that claim.

Title in the bag or not, the Punk and MJF stuff does currently remain unresolved. It felt like the plan after Punk won the title was for MJF to be the one to eventually beat him for it. MJF returned to AEW under a mask at the start of the same All Out where Punk won the title and then went on his infamous tirade during the press conference after that. Jon Moxley beat Bryan Danielson for the vacant title and MJF won it from him instead.
