Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are very impressed with their grandson Agastya Nanda

When Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are you grandparents and Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are your uncle and aunt, you too can get struck by the industry, but not for Agastya Nanda. Agastya Nanda is Shweta Nanda and Nikhil Nanda’s 17 year old son who has managed to bowl his family over with his first short film. He is currently pursuing his studies abroad and while Big B wanted him to be the third generation of actors in the Bachchan family, Agastya has a natural knack from filmmaking. His first short film will soon release on Youtube for public viewing.
“Agastya not only wrote the script and directed his film, he also composed the background music for it. When Amitji and Jayaji saw the film they were bowled over. They now feel Agastya could be the first filmmaker in the family. Although if truth be told, Jayaji has been prodding her son Abhishek to move into direction for the longest time,” a source close to the family revealed.
Unlike brother Agastya, Navya Naveli Nanda is not interested in the movies and this was a relief for her mother Shweta.  “I will be worried if she plans to be an actor. I don’t think it is as easy as it looks. You have to work extremely hard, especially if you are a woman. And I wonder if she has in her to bear with all of it. Also, there is a lot of failure involved, which many people don’t see. The failure is personal, your acting skills… the way you look on screen is slashed out in open,” said the very concerned mother. 

Well, we’re sure that creativity and talent flows in the blood and with Agastya’s first short film, we will get a taste of what’s to come.
