WWE trusted Rollins in various important matches to become one of the faces of the company as a singles star. The road to success saw a lot of new friends and foes along the way. Rollins is known for speaking his mind which can provide mixed results in how others view him. Find out what caused him to love or dislike the following people in wrestling.

Updated on December 11th, 2021 by Akshay Thimmaya: Seth Rollins is one of the biggest stars in WWE. Ever since his debut with The Shield and subsequent heel turn, Rollins has spent most of his time working marquee feuds with a prominent spot on the card. In the past, Rollins' comments on social media and in interviews have rubbed people the wrong way, so it is easy to assume that there are at least a few people he has a fractious relationship with. Those comments could also be construed as a fierce belief in his own principles, or a willingness to stick by those close to him. Rollins has forged several great relationships in the business as well, deftly balancing the friction he has with some colleagues, with true companionship.

13 Loves: Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch

For obvious reasons, it is safe to assume that Seth Rollins loves his wife, Becky Lynch. The couple welcomed their daughter, Roux to the world in December 2020 and tied the knot in June 2021. As of right now, they are the true power couple in pro wrestling - Becky Lynch is one of the biggest stars in the company, and Seth Rollins is one of WWE's few home-made superstars from the last decade.

They appear to complement each other perfectly and hopefully the couple will stick together for the long run.

12 Doesn't Love: Ric Flair

Seth Rollins was recently attacked by a fan after a segment on Raw. The former Architect was widely lauded by the community for his handling of the situation, but Ric Flair was less than impressed. After Rollins admitted to being scared when he was attacked, the Nature Boy took exception, saying that he should not have been scared, and that being in a plane crash is scary.

While no one is discounting what Flair has been through, it was a wholly unnecessary comment that likely hurt whatever professional relationship they had. Couple this with Lynch's issues with Charlotte - and there is probably no love lost between both men.

11 Loves: Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan dropkicking The Shield

The friendship between Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins formed during their time working together in Ring of Honor. Rollins delivered some of the first breakout performances as Tyler Black when facing off with Bryan in outstanding matches.

The two enjoyed working together again in WWE when Rollins was in The Shield and often faced off with Bryan and Kane. Rollins referenced in his WWE 24 special that it broke his heart to miss Bryan’s retirement in 2016 when he was off the road with an injury. The return of Bryan gives them the chance to work together again now that both are on Smackdown.

10 Does Not: Riddle

A recent instance of Seth Rollins expressing his dislike for a wrestler in WWE came at the expense of Riddle. WWE called up Riddle from NXT with a lot of controversy surrounding him following allegations about his actions outside of the ring.

Rollins made it clear that he had no interest in working with Riddle when he was drafted to Smackdown in an interview. Riddle moving to Raw saw them switching brands to avoid being forced to feud. There were other reports of Riddle badmouthing Rollins in the past to add more heat to the scenario.

9 Loves: Jimmy Jacobs

Former WWE writer and ROH wrestler Jimmy Jacobs played a huge role in the rise of Seth Rollins. Jacobs suggested ROH hire Rollins to join his Age of the Fall faction as a young star. Rollins started to get over teaming with Jacobs and learning from the veteran’s mind.

Jacobs joining WWE to write allowed them to work together in a new capacity with both talents always speaking highly of the other. Rollins has had nothing but great things to say about Jacobs as one of the smartest men in wrestling.

8 Does Not: Bret Hart

Bret Hart in the ring

The relationship between Bret Hart and Seth Rollins is negative after Hart criticized him for being reckless in the ring. Finn Balor and Sting both suffering bad injuries in matches against Seth led to Bret calling him out for not taking care of his opponents.

Rollins revealed on Talk is Jericho that Hart was a childhood hero of his and he felt horrible about the legend ripping him apart publicly. The interview featured Seth defending himself and making it clear that Bret’s assessment of him was inaccurate.

7 Loves: Sting

Sting in WWE

The match between Seth Rollins and Sting could have easily hurt Rollins’ career since Sting was essentially forced into retirement after the injury. However, it was made clear by Sting multiple times that Rollins was not at fault and he hated seeing the criticism thrown at Seth.

WWE Network showed a look behind the scenes that featured Rollins revealing that he grew up idolizing Sting to the point of dressing like him for Halloween. Rollins stated that Sting was an even better person outside of the ring than he was as a legend in the ring.

6 Does Not: Jim Cornette

Jim Cornette in MLW

Seth Rollins was one of the few wrestlers to have a great relationship with Jim Cornette during his time in Ring of Honor. Cornette wanted Rollins to be the face of the company and even helped him get in contact with WWE for a developmental contract to avoid signing with TNA.

Rollins lost all respect for Cornette when Jim trashed his wife Becky Lynch on a podcast. Cornette criticized Lynch for choosing to get pregnant and have a child during the hottest run of her career. Rollins publicly spoke out defending his fiancé and revealed his prior bond with Cornette was done for good.

5 Loves: Rey Mysterio

The feud between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins was one of the most intense of 2020. Any segment between the two received huge social media views and it helped make Dominik Mysterio an important talent at the start of his career.

Rollins revealed that he took it as a huge honor to work that closely with Rey and even went out of his way to work with Dominik in his first match. The respect for Mysterio saw Seth picking Dominik over a few other names to face him at SummerSlam 2020 in a huge match.

4 Does Not: Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega in AEW

Kenny Omega and Seth Rollins got into a war of words when defending their respective careers to each other. Rollins took some stiff shots at Omega when stating he needs to get out of the “minor leagues” when referencing his accomplishments in AEW and New Japan.

Omega made many negative comments about WWE to upset Seth and responded to the minor league comments by calling out Rollins’ track record of not delivering big matches like him. Both wrestlers clearly showed tension towards the other when it comes to their perception of importance in wrestling.

3 Loves: Cesaro

Cesaro walking

The journeys of Seth Rollins and Cesaro saw them both working their way from the independent circuit to Ring of Honor to WWE developmental to the main roster. Rollins has always had strong chemistry with Cesaro whenever they get to work together.

A recent interview saw Seth name Cesaro as his best friend on the road since the two love to work out at the same gyms and get coffee at the same places before shows. Rollins found a lifelong friend in Cesaro many years ago with a bond that’s as strong as ever today. Rollins putting over the Swiss Cyborg at WrestleMania 37 is just proof of that fact.

2 Does Not: CM Punk

CM Punk in UFC

The controversial departure of CM Punk from WWE in 2014 saw him burning a lot of bridges with various WWE employees. Rollins had a few subtle comments throwing shade at Punk throughout the years that grew worse in 2020.

Punk returning to the wrestling world as a part of the Backstage talk show saw him criticizing the work and social media activities of Rollins. The rebuttal from Rollins saw him telling Punk to get back in the ring for his opinion to have any merit.

1 Loves: Edge

Why Seth Rollins Should Win At WWE Crown Jewel (& Why Edge Should Win)

For a long, long time, it seemed like a dream match between Edge and Seth Rollins would be just that - a dream. But then Edge returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble and opened up a world of possibility. It took a little while, but fans finally got their feud.

WWE wisely dipped into their history dating back to Rollins' run in the Authority, and each of their three matches escalated in violence, culminating in a Hell in a Cell match at Crown Jewel. It was obvious that both men have a ton of respect for one another, and the fact that they were able to push each other to these heights likely strengthened their relationship.
