10 Things Fans Should Know About WWE's Fashion Police Tag Team
Breezango was an entertaining tag team that saw Fandango and Tyler Breeze come together to create some fantastic segments and matches. While WWE never truly capitalized in terms of making them champions or a focal point on the main roster, they were certainly popular enough among the WWE Universe.

The fans loved seeing the Fashion Files take place, and the comedy that they were able to bring is something that proved to be entertaining. However, the fact that they could bring it inside the ring helped them be taken seriously at the same time, but even though they were popular there are plenty of people who still don't know about them and their time as a team.
10 Tyler Breeze Started Fashion Files
The Fashion Files segments proved to be a crucial element of Breezango's gimmick, as they were able to bring some brilliant comedy to the company. Together they would try and solve mysteries that they created, and it allowed the personalities of both men to shine through which connected with the fans.
However, what a lot of people aren't aware of is the fact that these types of segments began with Tyler Breeze alone. When Fandango got injured, Prince Pretty would focus on trying to find him in different segments for the website, which were great to see.
9 Former NXT Tag Team Champions
Neither Fandango nor Tyler Breeze were ever able to hold singles gold throughout their WWE careers, which is particularly surprising for Prince Pretty, who was one of the top names in NXT during his first run. They also didn't hold gold on the main roster, but that changed when they returned to NXT as a duo.

Because not every fan watches the black and gold brand they are not aware of the fact that Breezango did manage to achieve tag team glory. The duo held the NXT Tag Team Championships for 56 days after defeating Imperium, eventually dropping them against Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch.
8 Why They Teamed Up
While everyone knows that Tyler Breeze and Fandango worked perfectly together as a tag team, anytime two singles wrestlers are thrown together it can be a risk. However, it was Vince McMahon who decided that they should work together, as the former WWE Chairman saw something in them both.
At the time, each man was struggling as singles wrestlers as they didn't make the impact that they had hoped. However, rather than releasing them both, it was McMahon who had the idea to create a tag team out of them.
7 A Backlash Tweak
Breezango had many great moments as a tag team in WWE, but their Backlash 2017 match against The Usos was arguably the most memorable. It was a fantastic match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, and one that saw Tyler Breeze and Fandango tap into a lot of comedic moments.
While that was a risk, the decision to bring so many funny moments into the bout was Vince McMahon's. He decided to push the comedic side of the team just an hour before the show began, and it proved to be the right call as they got a standing ovation upon their return to Gorilla position later that night.
6 Triple H Went To Bat For Them
Even though neither Triple H nor Fandango is around on the WWE roster anymore, when the company first started releasing talent due to budget cuts from the pandemic, neither of them were involved in that. Breezango had expected to be part of that because of their position on the card, but the call never came.
However, a big reason for that is Triple H. Fandango believes that the Game went to bat for them as a tag team, pushing that they should be kept around during that time because of what they brought to the company.
5 Help From Road Dogg
Triple H isn't the only member of D-Generation X that believed in Breezango as a pairing though, as a lot of people don't know that Road Dogg was a huge advocate for them working together as well. Road Dogg is someone who has worked behind the scenes following his retirement, and his work in the creative team led to Breezango getting further opportunities.
He believed in what they were able to do, mainly because he could relate to them because he had been placed into a tag team with Billy Gunn despite them both being singles wrestlers during his career.
4 Returning To NXT
Breezango being part of the black and gold brand was a great call, and one that led to many of their most successful moments as a tag team. However, what a lot of people don't know is that it was Tyler Breeze who played a big role in making all of that happen, initially as a singles wrestler, and then as a tag team.
Breeze returned to NXT alone at first, and that is something that he had suggested to WWE as he wasn't doing anything on the main roster because Fandango was hurt. He then convinced his tag team partner to join him on the developmental brand, and the rest was history.
3 Wanting To Be Fandango
Both Tyler Breeze and Fandango were able to have fantastic careers in their own right, and that is because they were both such skilled and entertaining performers. However, when the two men first met as part of WWE's old developmental system FCW, Breeze was left in awe of the man who would later become his tag team partner.
He wanted to be like Fandango after seeing him work as he was that impressed with the performances that Fandango put together during that time, which showcases the connection that they were able to make from such an early time.
2 Not Understanding Fashion Files
The Fashion Files segments were a crucial part of everything that Breezango did as a tag team, and while their in-ring work was a focal point, it was those backstage segments that people loved. However, one person who didn't understand them was their former boss Vince McMahon.

He admitted to the tag team that he didn't understand the Fashion Files segments or their appeal. However, the fact that people were reacting to them was enough for him, which is why he continued to put them on television. That showcases that Vince would always do what was best for the product, even if he wasn't personally a fan.
1 Fandango's Improv
A lot of the backstage work that Breezango did had a script at the start so WWE knew how things would play out, but remembering lines is something that Fandango has admitted to struggling with. Instead, he preferred to come out with his comments naturally that would showcase improvisation.
Because of that, a lot of what he said with his clever one-liners were actually just off the cuff, which is likely why so many of the segments ended up being hilarious.
