Lesnar being around that long has created some cringey moments that aren’t as cool as his usual career highlights. Fans often forget these moments since WWE doesn’t talk about it as much as the best of times. No one is perfect and that shows with a storied career like Brock’s. The following WWE moments of Lesnar provided a cringey element.

The first WWE run of Brock Lesnar saw him doing some dastardly things to sell his intimidation factor as a heel. Vince McMahon was aligned with Brock when the boss entered a feud with one-legged wrestler Zach Gowen.

One of the actions from Lesnar during this time in his career featured him throwing Gowen down a flight of stairs for the heel heat. WWE wanted to get heat on Brock, Vince and anyone who took an unfair advantage.

Laurinaitis' involvement in Lesnar’s first program against John Cena took away from the appeal. Lesnar standing behind Laurinaitis and not being on his own was enough to make fans cringe. Even the booking of Cena winning their first match was uncalled for.

8 Cain Velasquez Attacking Him

WWE utilized the first episode of Smackdown on Fox to reset the product in more ways than one. Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship from Kofi Kingston in an embarrassing 8-second main event to make him the top dog again.

However, it was also done to set up a new challenger when former UFC fighter Cain Velasquez made his debut. The moment of Velasquez showing up with Rey Mysterio and attacking Lesnar felt ridiculous. Cain and Brock had a terrible match to make this feel even worse looking back.

7 Stealing Steve Austin's ATV

The final storyline of Brock Lesnar in his first run was a feud with Goldberg that also involved Steve Austin as a guest referee. Brock tried to get in Austin’s head when he showed up on the final episode of Raw before WrestleMania 20.

The attack was good to make fans care more about the match, but Lesnar stealing Austin’s ATV felt forced and corny. Austin showing up on Smackdown and beating the hell out of Brock to get it back was a more memorable moment.

6 Bullying The Raw Commentary Team

The segment was cringey since they were asking about Rey Mysterio’s whereabouts and the commentary team had nothing to do with it. Maddin stepping up for Lawler led to him taking an F5 through the commentary table.

5 Mocking Eddie Guerrero With Mariachi Band

A polarizing segment from the Ruthless Aggression Era featured Brock Lesnar mocking Eddie Guerrero shortly before their big title match. WWE went with Brock disrespecting Eddie by showing up in a sombrero and having a live mariachi band playing music.

The dancing from Lesnar was entertaining, but the racial element of the humor involved upset certain fans. AEW talent Thunder Rosa even admitted she felt disrespected watching this at the time and was inspired to have her own mariachi band entrance to show more respect.

4 Bragging About Breaking Hardcore Holly's Neck

Brock Lesnar v Hardcore Holly

One of the most pointless title matches in WWE history Hardcore Holly challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2004. The story focused on Holly suffering a broken neck after a botch in his match with Lesnar.

WWE had Brock cutting promos making fun of Holly’s injury in heartless fashion to set up Holly returning to challenge him for the WWE Championship. The match itself had zero heat and the story added little fan interest beyond cringing at Lesnar’s promos.

3 Faking Injury To Betray Kurt Angle & Unite With Vince McMahon

Brock Lesnar Kurt Angle

An intricate storyline for Brock Lesnar featured him at odds with Vince McMahon as a face character. The bigger reveal saw a swerve coming when Kurt Angle thought he formed a babyface alliance with Lesnar against McMahon and others.

Brock faked an injury during a cage match with Vince and Angle as the referee to set up his former friend. The lies from Lesnar were revealed when he stood back up to brutally attack Angle and become the latest wrestler representing Vince McMahon.

2 Putting His Hand On Undertaker's Pregnant Wife's Stomach

WWE booked Brock Lesnar into a longer feud with The Undertaker right after he won the WWE Championship from The Rock. The title win established Brock as the new top star, but the feud with Undertaker was meant to give him layers.

One shocking moment came when Undertaker’s then-wife Sara was at the show during a pregnancy. Lesnar confronted her and placed his hand on her stomach while making a threat to her husband. The angle was cringeworthy, but it worked to make fans want to see Undertaker get some revenge.

1 Trashing Triple H's Office At WWE Headquarters

The entire feud between Brock Lesnar and Triple H was viewed as a disappointment shortly into Brock’s return. One of the segments to come from this saw Paul Heyman and Brock invaded WWE Headquarters to make their presence felt.

Lesnar entered Triple H’s personal office and vandalized it with a sledgehammer breaking apart various items. The segment came off flat and made fans cringe at the toughest WWE star resorting to messing up an office to get in Triple H’s head.
