10 Biggest Roster Omissions From The WWE 2K22 Base Game
The WWE 2K22 roster is a loaded one that features a ton of talent. From current stars to legends or NXT workers, there are a lot of playable characters for fans to dive into. However, even though there are a lot of fun options, there are also some huge names that have been left out of the game this year.

All the former WWE stars in AEW have been taken out, even if they only just left like Adam Cole, which does make sense. But some omissions will have fans scratching their heads due to the fact they are prominent names in the industry.
10 Paige
Paige is one of the biggest names that has not been included in the game this year, despite the fact she is an avid gamer herself. She has a Twitch stream where she plays video games, which would have been a smart idea to tap into. On top of that, Paige is under contract with WWE, which would lead most people to presume she'd be added in.
Paige has been used on television since retiring, so it's not like she has been completely forgotten by fans. The former Divas Champion seemed to be surprised herself that she wasn't included as well, taking to Twitter to complain about the situation.
9 Lita
Lita is the type of name that fans just presume will be on the roster for every WWE video game at this point. She and Trish Stratus are two of the biggest stars in the history of the company, and they are legends that WWE always relies upon. However, Lita is strangely not part of the game.

She has recently had a featured television storyline, getting to compete for the Raw Women's Championship. While everything will have already been developed for that game by that point, it only makes her omission an even bigger deal that people will be shocked by.
8 Omos
While there are plenty of legends left out, 2K has also not included a lot of current talent as well. Omos is one of the biggest omissions in that regard, considering he has been a featured star for the past year. WWE has pushed Omos heavily, and he has even held tag team gold for a lengthy period alongside AJ Styles.
He is a larger-than-life character that people want to see in the video game, and not having him is an odd decision. Considering the fact he is used on Monday Night Raw every week, most people would have presumed that Omos would be a playable character.
Update: Omos has been announced as part of DLC plans.
7 Mick Foley
When it comes to WWE legends, there are few bigger names than Mick Foley. He is a beloved wrestler, and once again is someone fans expect to see within the game. Because having Foley involved typically brings at least three characters to the game, people thought he would be involved.
Having Foley on the roster would bring Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love, which is something that adds a lot of star power to the roster. They are also iconic characters that fans like to put against the modern-day wrestlers, but that won't happen this time.
Update: WWE 2K has announced Mick Foley as part of their DLC for the game.
6 Drake Maverick
Drake Maverick might have been released by WWE, but the game does feature a lot of talents who were cut by the company. Some of them are not in good graces with WWE either, which is not the case for Maverick. He has always been a popular star, and has a good relationship with the company.
Maverick has since been brought back to WWE as a member of the creative team, marking the third time he has been hired. Because of that, it is surprising that he doesn't feature on the game in any capacity.
5 Bella Twins
The Bella Twins are two more surprising names that have not been featured on the game this year. Nikki and Brie are popular wrestlers, and given their success outside of wrestling, a lot of people would presume they'd be included. However, neither of them are involved, despite being two of WWE's biggest female stars of the past decade.

It is strange given that they have only just been inducted into the Hall Of Fame, which creates a buzz around them. Plus, they are both on good terms with the company, having recently returned. They could be added a later date, but right now, they are strange omissions.
4 Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker is someone that people thought would be included in the game as WWE has high hopes for him. NXT is featured in the game with certain talent. So not having one of the main stars from the roster, who has held the NXT Championship is a surprising situation.
He is a talent that will no doubt be involved highly in video games moving forwards. However, it would have been a smart move to place him into this game to capitalize on the popularity he has right now. Putting him in would only have grown his popularity, which WWE would have been smart to have involved.
3 Doudrop
Doudrop is another current star that isn't involved in the video game, which is surprising. Considering the fact she is a main roster star who has been heavily featured since moving from NXT UK, most people would have presumed she'd be involved. Current stars on Raw and SmackDown are normally always featured.
Because of that, not having her in the game is a strange omission.
Update: Doudrop has been announced as part of DLC plans.
2 Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle is another big legend that isn't featured in the game, to the surprise of most fans. With Angle playing a big part in Rey Mysterio's history, who is showcased in this game, it is even more shocking he is not in the game. But outside that, Angle is a huge star that people want to see.
He's in the good graces of the company, which is one of the reasons some legends can miss out. Plus, Angle is one of the biggest names available, so having that star power seems like a no-brainer. However, that hasn't happened, with the Hall Of Famer missing out.
1 Ronda Rousey
Out of all the omissions, Ronda Rousey is the biggest name not to be featured. 2K will have been aware that she was coming in, and likely had things ready to put her in the game from the past anyway. While she is sure to be a downloadable character in a pack to make money, she's a massive name not to be featured.
Rousey is now of the biggest stars in the company, and not having her available right out of the gate is a huge surprise. Considering she is going to be headlining WrestleMania, it will leave a lot of gamers disappointed that she is not a playable option immediately.
Update: Ronda Rousey has been announced as part of DLC plans.
