WWE's UpUpDownDown Channel Has Been Dormant Since October 15, And Here's Why [Report]
WWE's popular UpUpDownDown YouTube Channel hasn't been updated since October 15 and the company is yet to provide a reason for the lack of activity ... so what's going on?
According to a recent report from our friends over at Fightful Select, UpUpDownDown has been dormant is because the WWE Superstars who contribute content to the channel are refusing to do so until the channel's founder and host Xavier Woods gets a better deal from WWE.
Per Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, the UUDD contributors are standing in solidarity with Woods as they feel he is being taken advantage of by WWE. Sapp also stressed that the channel will likely survive and will begin sharing new content once Woods gets a better deal.

In conjunction with WWE, Woods launched UpUpDownDown in 2015 after having an initial pitch rejected. “So I actually didn’t want to create a YouTube channel,” Woods told the eSports Observer last year. “I had zero intentions of doing that – it wasn’t even like a thought on the radar. I wanted to create a show that was like a Travel Channel-type show [where] you go to different cities and try different things…because as we were traveling for WWE what I would do most nights is find an arcade bar in whatever town we were in, go check it out, play the games, you know, play with people.” Xavier's pitch was rejected, but he continued to brainstorm with WWE higherups until UUDD was conceived.
UUDD now has over 2 million subscribers.
Outside of his YouTube endeavors, Xavier Woods is having a very good year. As we previously reported, Woods recently became the King Of The Ring by defeating Finn Balor at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia last month. Woods will also be a part of the relaunched G4 network.
