WWE's Draft Rules Shoot Down Big Rumor, Plus WWE Teases Live Reactions

Thanks to the official posting of the rules and details by WWE regarding the upcoming draft, the WWE Universe now knows the fate of a few Superstars and it shoots down rumors about one in particular... kind of.

Thanks to the way the rules have been laid out and with a few specific details in the way Superstars were listed on the official release, both The Hurt Business group and Retribution will not be split up for any reason related to the draft itself.

WWE has each faction listed as a group, meaning if drafted, all members will be drafted together. Therefore, if The Hurt Business go to SmackDown, Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin and MVP will move at the same time. If Retribution goes to SmackDown, all six members (Mustafa Ali, T-BAR, MACE, SLAPJACK, RECKONING & RETALIATION) will move. Of note here is that WWE confirmed both females were in the group, squashing any rumors that Mercedes Martinez was no longer involved in the faction.

The same goes for Lucha House Party and New Day even though there have been teases of a split in one case and members of the group wrestling as singles in another.

WWE Will Hold A Watch Along

What could be fun is that WWE will air a Watch Along episode during the draft with WWE Superstars watching as the proceedings unfold. Since WWE stars are often legitimately not told in advance where they'll be headed to, we could some pretty unique and real reactions.

And, Superstars who get drafted will jump right into an interview with the hosts of the show to share their reaction to the news. There are certain to be some happy campers in the mix and others who are not necessarily pleased about having to switch brands.
