Why Stephanie Decided To Fake Her Relationship With Harris
90 Day Fiancé star Stephanie Davison fired back at the TLC show's producers on the Tell-All, revealing that her romance with Harris was scripted.
While Stephanie Davison’s relationship with Ryan Carr ended on the scariest note, she did move on hard and fast with his cousin Harris Flowers on 90 Day Fiancé season 8. The finale has Stephanie hinting at a future with Harris as TLC viewers saw the Belize man still in love with his baby mama Emma and allegedly scamming the Skin Envy owner. But at the Tell-All, Stephanie spilled how the producers had allegedly manipulated her into looking like a substance-abusing cougar on TV. Moreover, Stephanie revealed that her relationship with Harris on 90 Day Fiancé was scripted.
Sofa Talk with Stephanie saw the 52-year-old 90 Day Fiancé star debunk most of the controversies she faced on the show. While her relationship with Ryan was criticized due to her spending lavishly on him, Stephanie soon made serious accusations against him. While adding that she had already broken up with Ryan before filming, Stephanie also accused the 90 Day Fiancé producers of not just assassinating her character but also putting her health at risk. Stephanie asserted that she did the show to get more business, but she also admitted how the Harris story is only “2% true.”
Following the breakup between her and Ryan, Stephanie Davison shared how she didn’t trust him enough to continue filming. That’s when Stephanie called Harris personally for a favor and told him about how she doubted if Ryan would stick with the story considering he was bribing her for money. “We have broken up and they’re making me continue the show,” she told Harris while asking him if he could fill in for Ryan since everyone already knew him given that Stephanie had hooked up with him in the past. “I had him in the backburner,” confessed the 90 Day Fiancé star who, 48 hours after landing in Belize, begged producers for two hours to let her out of the set as she was bitten severely by the sand flies.
After Ryan allegedly attacked her and she woke up the next day, Stephanie let producers know about the incident. Stephanie got a call from a 90 Day Fiancé producer and attorney telling her how they’d have to shut down production and head back to the United States. “Well, let me call Harris,” said Stephanie, who had become friends with a lot of the production staff but felt responsible since they were low on cash due to COVID-19. That was how she got him to fill in. Stephanie noted how Harris came and stayed with her.
Stephanie pointed out that Harris has a family including Emma and the children who were seen on 90 Day Fiancé. But after a couple of days with Harris, the producers had Stephanie say, “I wanna have him come to America on a K-1 visa." Meanwhile, the Michigan resident alleged that they also made her “look like an idiot” by making Harris say, “everyone is rich in America, I could very well get a whole lot of money and support a whole family.” Stephanie recalled telling Harris about how he could come to the US on a work visa and send some money home. “He and Emma were breaking up all the time. She would leave, take the children, move out, move in,” Stephanie revealed, as she knew the couple for three years - just as long as she knew Ryan.
“They totally contrived that on the show to make it look like it was a set-up,” Stephanie shared. Stephanie then added how she sent a box worth thousands of dollars with a computer for Emma, work shoes for Harris, and toys for the children on Christmas. The team also apparently had Stephanie tape a picture of Harris on the refrigerator, making it look like he was going to come on a K-1 visa after all. Considering Stephanie’s long list of accusations, almost all of her 90 Day Fiancé storyline was scripted, giving her a negative look. Thankfully for Stephanie, she is laughing her way to the bank with a flourishing business, which is exactly what she had wished for.
