Quick Links
WWE has produced some of the most mesmerizing and spectacular shows in the rich history of the company spanning over four decades. These major events are made memorable by some amazing dream matches scheduled for the card featuring their top-tier talent. Fans have always been excited to witness these dream encounters, and we might just see one more this year on the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania 39 between two of the top attractions of WWE, Bray Wyatt, and Brock Lesnar.
Brock Lesnar is regarded as one of the most dangerous and gifted athletes in combat sports history, making a name for himself in WWE and UFC, and becoming even more lethal as the years go by. On the other hand, WWE's landscape has been terrorized by Bray Wyatt and his dark antics for a long time, with fans calling him a creative genius and a highly talented in-ring competitor.
The WWE Universe has seen them cross paths in the past, and it seems the perfect opportunity for this epic encounter to come to fruition. Fans had lost all hope to see this match when Bray Wyatt was released in 2021 by WWE, however, his return to the company at WWE Extreme Rules last year gave them hope that the dream bout can still happen in WWE. So, let's dive deep and explore Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar's history and how their long pending match can finally happen this year.

Brock Lesnar & Bray Wyatt Were Scheduled For A Match At One Point
The run-ins between Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt have happened a couple of times in the past. Back at the 2016 Royal Rumble match, The Wyatt Family made their presence felt and terrorized the entire field. However, they were destroyed when Brock Lesnar entered the match, eliminating each one of them. But right after, it was time for Bray Wyatt to take the lead after entering the match. Lesnar squared up against Wyatt. Despite being eliminated already, the Wyatt Family returned to the ring to take down Lesnar. Wyatt then laid him out with Sister Abigail, with his minions doing the dirty work of eliminating him from the match.
An unexpected addition to WWE's calendar was a match between Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt at the 2016 Roadblock event a month later. This was a strange statement given that this was a WrestleMania match that was anticipated. However, due to Wyatt's injury when the event rolled around, the contest was changed to a 2-on-1 handicap match, with Wyatt and Luke Harper teaming up. Wyatt stood outside and observed as Lesnar repeatedly pounded Harper, with the Beast Incarnate easily prevailing in the fight. The booking was a little strange because, if Wyatt were to stay out of it, it should have just been a singles fight, but it did leave the door open for a potential Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt feud in the future.

Brock Lesnar Has Limited Dream Matches Left In His WWE Career
Brock Lesnar has been in the wrestling business for well over two decades and has wrestled almost every marquee name in the industry such as John Cena, The Rock, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, and Roman Reigns to name a few. Only a top name like Bray Wyatt is omitted from his impressive list of victims. A recent turn of events on the February 17th, 2023 edition of Friday Night SmackDown can finally lead to a blockbuster match between the Beast Incarnate and the New Face of Fear, potentially at this year's WrestleMania, set to take place under the bright lights of Hollywood.
The night before WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 on SmackDown saw Bray Wyatt and his supposed new ally, Uncle Howdy, destroy HitRow in the ring, not before calling out Brock Lesnar and his opponent for the aforementioned event, Bobby Lashley. Wyatt indicated that they would come after the winner of the match, advising them to "run." The chamber event saw The Almighty Bobby Lashley win the bout by disqualification after Brock Lesnar destroyed him and everything in sight in the match. The carnage laid by the Alpha Male of All Species might have intrigued Bray Wyatt to choose Brock Lesnar in an attempt to tame the Beast and vanquish him from the WWE landscape forever on the biggest stage, WrestleMania 39.
This seems like the perfect opportunity for WWE to schedule this mega showdown between two top draws of WWE at their grandest show this year, set to place on April 1st and 2nd at So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
