What Is Daniel Berger’s Net Worth?

It is estimated that Daniel Berger’s net worth is around $20 million.

Coming from a sporting family, his grandmother, Roslyn ‘Cookie’ Swift Berger, was a top amateur golfer who was inducted into the Greater Buffalo, New York Sports Hall of Fame in 2000. As well as his grandmother, his father was also previously ranked as the 7th best tennis player in the world.

Taking up the game of golf when he was 11, Berger managed to make his his first hole-in-one when he was just 13-years-old. Since then, the American has enjoyed an extremely successful career, claiming multiple PGA Tour titles, as well as some strong showings in golf's Major championships. 

Making his debut season on the PGA Tour in 2014 - 15, Berger was named Rookie of the Year, as he was the only rookie to make it into the Tour Championship. That season, he finished 11th in the FedEx Cup standings.

As well as finishing 11th in the FedEx Cup, Berger also finished 25th on that year’s money list, earning $3,028,901. The following season, he would secure his first title on the PGA Tour at the FedEx St Jude Classic. He won $1,116,000 for his efforts and would go on to make $3,290,764 that year.

Following two successful seasons, Berger carried on his great form, successfully defending his FedEx St Jude Classic title which earned him a further $1,152,000. He would go on to claim $4,287,161 for 2016 -17.

Although a slump in form followed, Berger has been in superb form since golf returned from the Covid-19 lockdown, claiming the biggest pay cheque of his career at the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. After eagling the final hole, not only did the American pick up a two-shot victory, but $1.4 million. 

At the time of writing, Berger has secured over $22 million in career earnings on the PGA Tour.

Away from tournaments, Berger also has a number of sponsorship deals. For the latter part of the 2021 season, he carried the logo of St Jude Children’s Research Hospital on his bag, with the bag auctioned at the end of the season to raise funds for the hospital.

Currently, on his bag, Berger has Nicholas Air printed on it, in which he is the brand ambassador for the private jet firm.

One of his biggest sponsors is adidas, who Berger signed for in January 2020. Announcing a multi-year contract, Berger is seen often wearing their headwear, apparel and footwear on the course. Prior to that, he had a clothing deal with Lacoste.

Currently, he is an equipment free agent, but did previously have a deal with Callaway, with the American still using many of their clubs in his bag.

Lastly, Berger is also sponsored by UKG, which is a workforce and human resource management service. As well as Berger, Nelly Korda, Will Zalatoris, Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson and Fred Couples are also sponsored by the brand.
