Tyson Fury Reportedly In Talks To Return To WWE
Tyson Fury is reportedly in talks with WWE over a potential return this summer.
Three years have already gone by since the two-time World Heavyweight Champion was in a WWE ring. And, according to GiveMeSport, sources close to the Gypsy King have made claims of the former boxer discussing a return with the wrestling promotion.

"GiveMeSport now has an update on the situation, as we’ve learned from sources close to Fury that the 33-year-old boxer is in talks with WWE regarding a potential return this summer," it reads. "It’s important to note that we’ve been told that nothing is finalized at this stage, and there are no concrete plans to have him on any shows, but we do know that discussions have taken place."
Fury’s last bit of action for WWE saw him win a count-out victory against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in 2019. He made an appearance on SmackDown in the buildup to the match and was also on exhibit when WWE took their show to the UK.
Fury has since gone on to retire from boxing, having beaten Deontay Wilder at Wembley in March, after which he teased a return to wrestling could be on the cards. He has also said he is open to exhibition boxing matches, calling out celebrities he would like to face. The Rock was one of them.
Tyson Fury Might Be At WWE's Cardiff Show
WWE is gearing up for a premium live event in Cardiff, Wales, on September 3. This would mark the promotion’s first UK stadium show since 1992 and having an appearance from a British celebrity would be beneficial. Fury has said he would love to be at Cardiff in the past, so there is speculation over his possible involvement.
WWE was planning a UK event that would have pitted Fury against Drew McIntyre prior to the COVID-19 pandemic that never took place. Fury and McIntyre have gone at each other on social media and whether anything comes out of it remains to be seen.
