Francis Ngannou laughs at Tyson Fury’s knockout prediction

Tyson Fury's confidence in his ability to defeat Francis Ngannou is unwavering, to the extent that he openly outlines the precise manner in which he envisions their fight concluding.

During a face-to-face interview on TNT Sports, moderated by former champion boxer Carl Frampton, Fury boldly declared, "I'm going to knock him out inside six rounds." He then proceeded to divulge his strategic plan: "I'll take the front foot, keep my arms high, pepper him with a punishing jab, delivering the force of 19 to 20 stone right to his face—boom, boom, boom, he said, continuing:

“I'll swell his eyes, feint, slip, and then deliver the decisive blow. Knockout, all while staying on the offensive, not retreating. I'll keep my hand guarding my eye, deflecting his hits with my shoulder, slipping, and then, bang, bang, bang. He'll go down in a heap. Believe me, nobody can withstand my power. These heavyweights don't stand a chance."

Ngannou responded, "No, no, no. Come on, come on."

Fury remained resolute, stating, "You better believe it. I'll start with a crisp, stiff jab—bang. I might even double or triple it—bang, bang, bang. Jab, slip, slip, slip, body shot, uppercut, jab, jab, feint—bang, right hand. It's game over."

Ngannou, with a laugh, remarked, "Well, that sounds like a script from a movie. But, as you said earlier, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face."

Scheduled for October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Fury, 35, and Ngannou, 37, are set to face off in a high-stakes 10-round heavyweight boxing match. Though Fury's WBC heavyweight title won't be on the line, the bout will officially count in both fighters' records. This presents Ngannou with the opportunity to be the first to hand Fury a loss on his unblemished professional record, as the former UFC champion makes his professional boxing debut.

Despite the long odds against him, Ngannou remains undeterred. Fury, the lineal heavyweight champion and a substantial favorite in the betting world, is known for his size, speed, and agility.
