The Truth About 90 Day Fiance's David Toborowsky And Annie Suwan

Before David Toborowsky met Annie Suwan, he went through hardships that changed the course of his life. He divorced his wife of 21 years, lost his job and his home, weighed over 350 pounds, and suffered a stroke. "My life was in a place that I don't wish on my worst enemy," he said on "90 Day Fiancé."

Three years later, David bounced back from his rough patch, and decided to pack his bags and travel to Thailand for a fresh start. Little did he know at the time, his future bride, Annie Suwan, was waiting for him there — at a karaoke bar, of all places. Annie, who was then 24, grew up in a small village in Thailand, but was living in its capital city of Bangkok, working at a hotel and singing in a band to make a better life for herself.

For the 48-year-old divorcé, who, as fate would have it, happened to be at the same bar Annie was performing at one night, it was love at first listen. "I heard Annie singing, and she has a voice of an angel," David told The List. The Louisville, Kentucky native was immediately smitten, and offered to buy Annie a drink — and that was the beginning of their beautiful love story. Years later, Annie still sings karaoke — but now, it's usually a duet with her loving husband by her side.
