Shayne Teases New Girlfriend & Shares On-Screen Regrets

Love Is Blind season 2 star Shayne Jansen has taken to social media to tease that he might have a new girlfriend and shared what were the biggest lessons and regrets he's had from appearing on the show. In February, Shayne was introduced to Love Is Blind as a 32-year-old real estate broker from Chicago, IL. It was quickly established that he found a connection with both Natalie Lee and Shaina Hurley in the pods.

After Shayne proposed to Natalie and they went on a trip to Mexico, the couple went back to their normal lives in Chicago, which is where their issues started. Natalie's family wasn't even aware that she had been through the Love Is Blind experiment, whereas Shayne felt unsure about his feelings toward Natalie. Shaina also tried to get in between the couple and even offered to Natalie that she could set her up with someone else. In the end, Natalie turned Shayne down at the altar following a fight they had just gone through the night before.

On Thursday, March 10, Shayne conducted an Instagram Q&A with his followers to answer some of their most pressing questions about his time on the show and his life ever since. First and foremost, a fan asked Shayne if he is dating someone, to which Shayne replied: "Stay tuned." In another Instagram Story, a follower asked what was the biggest lesson that he learned from being on Love Is Blind. Shayne wrote, "Learning to control my reactive emotions. I preach empathy all the time and it's time I hold myself accountable as well. Also, I need to learn to shut my mouth and listen. I'm working on it."

When asked if he was on an altered diet while filming Love Is Blind, Shayne revealed the real reason behind some of his behavior on the show. "My dad passed 3 months before the show, it affected both my physical and mental health" Shayne explained, "but [I'm] in a much better place." He was then asked whether he has any regrets about appearing on the hit Netflix series. Shayne noted that he hates holding onto regrets but appreciates what he can learn from certain mistakes. "My biggest mistake was not listening and putting Nat's feelings first during our pod argument," he concluded. Meanwhile, Shayne's costars like Natalie, Shaina, and Shake have also been outspoken on social media about their experiences on the show.

Natalie and Shayne reportedly dated for months after filming Love Is Blind. With that said, things just didn't work out between them. Thankfully, though, certain couples who met on Love Is Blind season 2 did build solid relationships on the show.
