Seth Rollins Suffered More Losses Than Anyone Else In WWE In 2022
As 2022 comes to a close and wrestling fans look ahead to 2023, one question on everyone's lips is whether the next year will be the one in which Roman Reigns finally loses at least one of his titles. There are a few names leading the way when it comes to who fans think might be the one to finally dethrone The Tribal Chief. Many are hoping to see The Rock return and teach his cousin a lesson, while others think a returning Cody Rhodes will be the one who finally puts Reigns in his place.
Seth Rollins' Long List Of Losses
Another name near the top of the list when it comes to picking who might finally take one of Reigns' titles from him is Seth Rollins. The Architect has had a pretty incredible 2022. Reinventing himself and arguably cementing his spot as WWE's number two behind the reigning champion. The Randy Savage to Reigns' Hulk Hogan (his words, not mine).

If you don't fancy seeing Rollins as WWE Champion in 2022, then you may want to drill down into the numbers for evidence backing up why you believe he doesn't really deserve it. You won't have to drill down that far either. According to Wrestle Features, Rollins has lost more matches than any other Superstar in WWE this year. Hard to believe when you look back on the year he's had.
120 Matches, 74 Losses
As for how exactly someone who seemingly had such a great year was left looking at the lights more than anyone else in the company, that may well be down to how much the man wrestled. 120 matches for Rollins in 2022 according to CageMatch.net. Rollins lost 74 of those matches, hence tasting defeat more than anyone else he shares a locker room with.
Despite wrestling 120 times, and getting beat more than anyone else, Rollins didn't wrestle the most matches in WWE this year. Jimmy and Jey Uso are tied for that honor having wrestled 134 matches each, winning half of them (or a little bit more than half for Jimmy). Perhaps if Rollins does claim he should be next in line to challenge Reigns for one or both of his titles, the champ or Paul Heyman can hit back with the stats above, questioning why someone who has lost so much deserves a title shot.
