9 Moving To WWE
WWE made a major move adding the tag team of Rick and Scott Steiner when their WCW contracts expired. The new start saw them once again finding the ultimate success as the top face tag team in WWE’s division.
However, Rick and Scott each admitted that they felt less comfortable in the WWE environment and hoped to have bigger matches. Vince McMahon was always hit or miss on how he used tag team wrestling, and it led to a mixed bag of moments in WWE for the Steiner Brothers.
8 Coming Back Home
Rick and Scott Steiner spent about two years in WWE before eventually heading back to WCW for a more ideal fit. Eric Bischoff wanted to bolster WCW for a true competition with WWE, and the Steiner Brothers coming back gave the tag division a huge boost.
WCW witnessed Rick and Scott having their best run as a tag team for the next few years. The Steiner Brothers won the WCW Tag Team Championship on seven occasions together. Harlem Heat was the only other duo to match Scott and Rick in accolades for WCW.
7 Joining The New World Order
One of the biggest heel turns in WCW featured Scott Steiner betraying his brother Rick to finally end the Steiner Brothers tag team. The New World Order became the top heel group and targeted every relevant WCW talent.
Scott and Rick had a great rivalry with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash as The Outsiders, but their final match featured the turn. Rick was blindsided by Scott who helped Nash and Hall score the win. Scott was inducted into the nWo after and became a hated heel.
6 Final WCW Star
WCW turning Scott Steiner heel saw him gradually moving up the rankings as a successful heel. Scott worked in the upper mid-card against bigger names before finally getting his main event push in the company’s final year.
The WCW Championship was won by Scott in 2000 when the company badly needed some new names in the main event scene. Scott is shown here during one of his infamous promos as “Big Poppa Pump” with his manager Midajah at his side.
5 Promising WWE Return
The end of WCW saw Scott Steiner becoming one of the final two main eventers with Booker T. Scott however opted to stay at home for a year and a half due to his AOL/Time Warner contract being strong enough to not join WWE over it.

4 All Hope Lost
The WWE run of Scott Steiner quickly lost all optimism after such a best-case scenario at the start. Triple H was the first rival of Steiner during his criticized title reign of terror. Steiner feuding with the top heel for the World Championship seemed like a good idea on paper, but it ruined his momentum.
Triple H was always planned to retain, so Steiner was going to lose his first feud as a red flag. However, the matches and segments going as poor as could be made it all worse. This photo shows the arm-wrestling contest between the two that showcased the downfall of Steiner in WWE.
3 Last Chance At Success With Stacy Keibler
Scott Steiner losing his feud to Triple H saw his standing in WWE taking a hit with management and the audience. WWE kept Steiner out with an injury for a few months after the Triple H feud and struggled to find a role to stay on television.
Stacy Keibler becoming the manager of Steiner was one of the final times fans that fans cared about him in WWE. Unfortunately, the program with Test couldn’t keep the fans interested in either male talent, and they just held Stacy back until the storyline ended.
2 Showing A New Side In TNA
Scott Steiner leaving WWE led to him quickly joining the TNA roster as one of the bigger names. TNA never made Steiner a legitimate title contender or world champ, but he added some name value for the roster depth.
Most fans will remember Steiner’s TNA time for the infamous math promo breaking down Samoa Joe’s chances at defeating him. Steiner showed that humorous side that was different than the intimidating character he tried to portray in WWE and WCW.
1 Still Having Fun In Wrestling
The full-time wrestling career of Scott Steiner has ended with him growing older and putting his energy into other business ventures. However, Steiner still makes a lot of wrestling appearances at conventions and shows where he’s asked to appear.
Impact Wrestling brought Steiner back to team with former ally Petey Williams and Knockouts star Jordynne Grace as a six-person team. Steiner coming back typically provides a lighthearted moment for fans reminiscing about the legend’s best moments.
