RECLAIMABLE SPACE EXCEEDED exception - Documentation for IMS Database Guides 3.0

This exception applies only to index databases. For HD databases, space occupied by deleted segments is returned to the database's free space and can be reused without reorganizing the database. However, for index databases, deleted segments can be retained and marked for deletion. The space is not returned to the database's free space for reuse until reorganization.
