Predicting 10 Wrestlers Who Won't Work AEW Collision With CM Punk
The announcement of CM Punk's upcoming return to AEW television is something that has got a lot of people talking both positively and negatively. Punk is going to be the featured star on AEW Collision, which is a huge deal for AEW and a lot of responsibility for the wrestling veteran.

He is going to have the Saturday show on his shoulders, but the problem for him is that there is still a lot of tension with many people on the roster. While the likes of FTR still sing his praises, many others aren't a fan of him and might end up refusing to work with the former AEW World Champion because of that.
10 Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega competing against CM Punk is arguably the biggest feud that Tony Khan has on the table to use with Punk's return, but it is likely that it won't end up happening. Punk and Omega were involved in the fight backstage at AEW's All Out last year, which was the last time that Punk was seen.
There were a lot of issues going on between them at that time, and because of that, it makes sense that Omega might not be willing to work with Punk now that he is back because of the issues that have existed between them.
9 Adam Page
While Adam Page was not involved in the infamous 'Brawl Out,' he is someone who has had very public issues with CM Punk. The two men had heat when they were working with each other previously, and that is something that could lead to them not working together again down the line.

Punk took very public shots at Page during his press conference, and he even called him out in the ring and made Page look foolish. Because there was a lack of professionalism there from Punk's perspective it would make sense for Page to not want to be involved with him.
8 Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston is someone who had issues with CM Punk before any of the problems that took place during CM Punk's most recent AEW appearances. Considering everything that has gone down since that point it wouldn't be a surprise to hear that Kingston has no desire to work with him again.
Kingston is also primarily part of Ring Of Honor now over AEW, and with that in mind, there is no real need for Tony Khan to book these two against each other if there is a risk of tension between them.
7 Brandon Cutler
Brandon Cutler might not be the biggest name on the AEW roster, but he might be someone that is still unwilling to work with CM Punk. Cutler is a very close friend of The Elite's and there's no doubt he has taken their side when it comes to the argument that took place between them all.
Cutler also found himself briefly suspended by the company because he was involved in the physical altercation, attempting to split up the fight. With that in mind, he might not be rushing to work with Punk, even if that means a greater opportunity for him.
6 Christopher Daniels
Much like Cutler, Christopher Daniels also found himself briefly suspended from his AEW duties and that could be the reason he would prefer to not work with CM Punk. The veteran wrestler is rarely competing now anyways and there is very little for him to gain by having a storyline against Punk.
The two men have known each other for a long time though, and Daniels is likely to be very aware of Punk's personality. While there is no confirmation that they have fallen out, Daniels might just prefer to steer away from the possible drama at this stage in his career.
5 Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho and CM Punk have had some epic matches in the past, and there have been rumors about them potentially working together again in AEW. The two men even reportedly had a meeting with Tony Khan to discuss their issues with each other, but the fact that tensions were that bad, to begin with, isn't a great sign.

Punk happily took shots at Jericho on social media, long after the major incident with him took place. Considering the power that Jericho has backstage it would be easy to see him having enough sway to completely avoid getting involved in working against Punk if he so wished.
4 Michael Nakazawa
Michael Nakazawa is another wrestler that rarely competes inside the ring at this point, and when he does it is mainly as an enhancement talent in comedy situations. However, he is also very close to all three members of The Elite and also saw himself suspended due to the 'Brawl Out' incident.
That is why Nakazawa is likely not pushing to work against Punk when he makes his return. Instead, Nakazawa will be aiming to keep his distance and focus on other opportunities.
3 Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy and CM Punk have longstanding issues with each other dating back to their time together in WWE, and that's something that hasn't been resolved at this point. Because of that, Hardy might opt to refuse to work with Punk, at least until the drama surrounding him has died down.
Right now Hardy is simply focusing on getting back on the straight and narrow himself, and he could do with avoiding any type of potential issues, therefore steering clear of a Punk rivalry might be a wise choice.
2 Colt Cabana
Colt Cabana is one of the most obvious people that will not be in a hurry to work with CM Punk, even though this is a match that could give him one last big push on television. He and Punk might have been best friends at one point, but the issues between them have been very public since.

Their fallout has been clear for all to see and that has continued with Punk constantly throwing jabs at Cabana. It would not be a surprise to hear that Cabana has no interest in facing Punk, simply because there is too much history between them at this point.
1 The Young Bucks
The Young Bucks were a big part of the 'Brawl Out' fight that took place, and they were two people that CM Punk took verbal shots at during his infamous press conference. It's something that is likely unresolved and there is certainly a lot of tension between them all.
That is why the tag team might end up choosing to refuse to work with Punk on AEW Collision, opting to stick to the Wednesday show instead. Because Punk is typically a singles wrestler though, this one might not be as much of a problem for Tony Khan from a booking perspective.
