MVP Teases Reformation Of The Hurt Business Faction With Different Members
The Hurt Business doesn't appear to be a faction any longer in WWE. Bobby Lashley has gone on to be a singles babyface and is holding the United States Championship, while MVP is now managing Omos. Cedric Alexander appears to be doing his own thing and Shelton Benjamin hasn't been connected to the group for quite some time. All of that may change if a post from MVP on Instagram is taken as a hint he might be reforming the group.
MVP took to the social media platform and posted a video of himself with Omos at Multnomfalls in Portland (the city where Raw was taking place on Monday night) and said that he was out there to get Omos moving around, but also to take care of some business. He then panned the camera over to show that Shelton Benjamin was with them. He said, "Always thinkin' about business." and smiled as though he had a secret. That secret could be reforming The Hurt Business with Omos and Benjamin as its main members.
MVP also wrote in the caption, "introducing my business associate, #thenigeriangiant, to the magnificence of #multnomahfalls. While discussing business...Take time to enjoy the world around you. But never stop hustling!" The hint here is that he's recruiting and the group could make their re-debut in the coming weeks.
WWE Fans Liked The Hurt Business
While the group won't be the same without Lashley, reforming the faction and using the mic skills of MVP with the size of Omos and the technical gifts of Benjamin seems like a logical move. The question might be, who else is on MVP's radar, if anyone? This could be a good opportunity put another member in the faction and push them into a leadership role, the one once occupied by The All Mighty.
If nothing else, this seems like a wise decision to shift some focus back to Omos and MVP, neither of which have been used much since Triple H took over creative.
