Conference Venue:
The Meeting will be held in the newly constructed Health Education Building (HEB) at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) at 2160 W. 39th Ave, Kansas City, KS 66103. The building is located at the corner of 39th Street and Rainbow Boulevard.

Masks are encouraged but not mandatory.
Communicate with respect and tolerance, being mindful of diversity and differences you may encounter. Keep criticism constructive and listen to others carefully and respectfully.
Do not capture, transmit or redistribute data presented at the conference.
KU Medical Center is a tobacco free campus. Tobacco use or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside our buildings, parking garages or on sidewalks surrounding the facilities.
Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in any scientific session or poster session at any time. Children cannot be left unattended or unsupervised.
Cell phones, pagers and other electronic devices must be turned off or placed on silent mode before entering a session.
Lost and found will be located in the Health Education Building (HEB) room G109.
HEB G109 can be used as a meeting room or an area to utilize as a workspace.
Poster presenters are fully responsible for placing their poster on the assigned poster board and removing their poster according to the schedule provided.
KU Medical Center will not be responsible for posters that are not removed at the designated time. These posters will be discarded.

Shuttle Transportation
A shuttle will be provided for those who are staying at the AC hotel and to transport everyone from campus to the off-site dinner event on Tuesday night.
Shuttles will run every 20 minutes during the times listed below.

Reception and Meals
All are invited to attend the events/meals listed in the event program schedule.
There will be a dinner reception on site in the Ad Astra Room on the fifth floor in the HEB on Monday evening at 6:30 pm and an off-site dinner on Tuesday night at the Char Bar at 6:00 pm. Each registrant will receive two drink tickets for each of the dinner receptions that may be redeemed for drinks.
Breakfast will be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings in the lobby area outside of the main session rooms.
A taco bar lunch will be provided on site in the Ad Astra Room on Tuesday. Wednesday will be grab and go boxed lunches to be taken at the conclusion of the meetings.
Light snacks, water and coffee will be available in the lobby space outside of the main session meeting rooms. Coffee break times are listed in the program schedule.

Child Care:
Attendees can directly contact Day Care Connection (), a local nonprofit agency with a referral service for those with child care needs. Day Care Connection's referral service lists family day care providers, day care centers and other day care facilities in Johnson, Wyandotte, and Miami counties, all licensed by the Kansas Department of Health & Environment. The agency will speak to clients directly, determine their specific child care needs, and refer them to day care centers or home care providers that accommodate drop-in child care. Day Care Connection requests a tax-deductible donation, which enables them to continue to offer this service to the community. The clients will pay the day care providers directly for costs pertaining to child care. Please contact Day Care Connection at least three months before be meeting.
