Logan Paul Denies Altering His Original WWE Signing Photo And Using It Again

Logan Paul signed a new WWE contract this week after his first deal with the company came to an end over WrestleMania weekend. The news was broken via a photo of Paul holding his contract alongside Triple H, who is pointing at him. It's very similar to the photo Paul posted when he signed his first deal with WWE. In fact, it's almost definitely the exact same photo.

Logan Paul's New Contract Announcement

There are some differences between the two pictures. Stephanie McMahon is gone since she isn't working in WWE anymore, and the colors of Paul's jacket and the Prime bottle have been changed from blue to yellow. Despite the differences, it looks very much like McMahon has been cropped out of the pic, and the coat and the bottle have had their colors changed to make the photos look like they were taken months apart.

The two images have been widely shared on social media by fans wondering what on earth is going on, and Paul has responded. “Some people are saying I photoshopped my new contract from the first time I signed with the WWE. That is untrue,” Paul tweeted. “As you can see, my jacket is a different color, Stephanie McMahon is no where to be found, and Prime is a different flavor.”

Paul Denies It's The Same Photo

It's unclear whether Paul is really trying to convince us the two photos were really taken at different times, or if he's trying to get in on the joke. Other than the cropped McMahon and the color changes, everything else is identical. Paul and Triple H's faces, the angle at which the contract is being held, even how open Paul's jacket is. I know WWE is hyper-focused on the little details, but even they wouldn't go this far, especially when it makes absolutely no sense to do so.

It's an odd hill to die on if Paul isn't just having a laugh with the rest of us as signing a new contract doesn't need to come with a new signing photo. If he wasn't around to sign it in person and take a photo, just announcing he had signed a new deal would have been sufficient. Now Paul has committed to wrestling a little more, fans have been busy debating who he should face next.
