Killer Klowns From Outer Space Come to Life In Detailed New Figures
While Killer Klowns From Outer Space 2 might never happen, Trick Or Treat Studios is coming out with new figures for the horror cult classic.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space and other horror icons are getting new detailed figures courtesy of Trick or Treat Studios. Killer Klowns From Outer Space came out back in 1988 from the Chiodo Brothers and is now considered a horror cult classic. For years, fans had been clamoring for a sequel, with rumors swirling for a while that The Return of the Killer Klowns From Outer Space in 3D would become a reality. Despite the original director claiming he has enough story ideas for a Killer Klowns From Outer Space trilogy, the sequel was one of many projects Disney canceled when they acquired 20th Century Fox.
While Killer Klowns From Outer Space 2 might never happen, Trick or Treat Studios is at least giving horror fans new merchandise. Announced in Part 5 of Trick or Treat Studios Toy Fair 2022, Shorty, Slim, and Fatso are getting their own action figures accompanied by several other horror icons like Michael Myers, Pumpkinhead, and Candyman. The 8-inch horror figures are part of the company’s “Scream Greats” line and are expected to be available for preorder later this year.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space may be a lesser-known horror film from the ‘80s compared to the likes of Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street, but there is still potential for the franchise to continue. With Disney+ drastically expanding their library and starting to implement more mature content, Disney+ could be the perfect home for a Killer Klowns From Outer Space movie or TV show. Plus, thanks to Spirit Halloween including the franchise in their main lineup of new merchandise last Halloween, Killer Klowns From Outer Space could have potentially gained a new generation of fans. For now, people will just have to settle for collectibles like these figures from Trick or Treat Studios.
