And although the story is very much focused on these criminals, Hamm's character acts as a great antagonist for audiences to connect to.
Starring alongside Hamm are Ben Affleck, Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Renner, and Blake Lively, who make a fantastic team together on-screen with their intense chemistry and outstanding performances. It's one of the most compelling thrillers out there, and Affleck's work behind the camera proves that he's worthy of sitting in that director's chair.
